It's a big moment for Axl so we'll see what happens. We know the release date etc.. so there is no immediate rush..
Doesn't Bestbuy.com say the release date is 11/25?? Didn't Mysteron agree when the rumor was it's release date was Sunday 11/23??
Sorry I haven't been reading these threads all that much, but which is it? If it's the 25th, Mysterons fallen pretty out of the loop on things . He may have connections to the tour (works at Electric Factory or something) but I'm not sure he's inside on the album all that much.

Hopefully the kid is ok, and they only kidnapped him for ransom, & to make a statement to the parents who owed them their debt. Hopefully once they find the police are involved they drop the kid off somewhere safe to avoid further charges.

It's going to be different, that's for sure. No more posts or threads about the waiting saga, or rumors etc.. Stupid blogs about "This guy says it's held up for this reason" or "Metalsludge said it's coming out this summer" etc.... So it'll change, myb for the better, myb for the worse.
It will be interesting to see if the album polarizes the community in any way. Will some people love it & others hate it... Will older fans love/hate it while younger fans hate/love it?? Maybe fans who've been on the boards will be disappointed & feel it wasn't worth all the wait plus the fact myb they'll sound tooo much like the leaks whereas newer fans will love it & just start getting into the band. Will there be any correlation to it whatsoever..

I didnt't see it, Phillies were in the playoffs & I was out watching the game. Heard alot of buzz about 'Joe the Plumber'. It was funny, early in the morning at work we get an email about about something & a manager up in NY replies "But what does Joe the Plumber think about this??". Most of us here had no idea what he was referring to, like it was some inside joke that went horribly, horribly wrong.

Buzz & Big Bri I think we're all the same age. Funny, I always thought you guys were younger. When UYI came out I was about 2 or 3 weeks into college, felt a little lonely & isolated. I remember getting out of my 8:00 class and walking across the street to buy it (I think they opened early that day). I was listening to it in my dorm room & a guy walking by asked if it was the new GnR & how it was... Didn't even know who he was.
Since then, yeah as with everyone met & lost touch with tons of people Met girls, had my heart broken, did drugs, quit drugs, got a dog named him Taco.My family is good though, parents are still kickin', had my last grandparent pass away, and a cool Uncle die just last year at only 56. RIP family, I'll enjoy this GnR cd just a little more this time around.

wait...you think just becuase the dow goes up, the economy is "picking up"...lol...ok then...
Two things:
A. I wrote "as of now, it looks like", which at the time, the Dow had increased 900+ points for the day. I could preface all my economy posts with "I still think we're in a recession and layoffs are likely to persist BUT..." but it gets lengthy & time consuming.
B. If the Dow went up 3,000 instead of dropping 3,000 & was sitting at 14,000 we wouldn't be having this thread.

I am just excited to hear Chinese Democracy the way it was intended to be heard.
