Riyadh could be an awesome single. It would need to be cleaned up (mixed/mastered better) and maybe it could use a few more poppy guitar licks (which Ron could handle easy) but other than that I don't think I would be too mad if they chose it.
The song structure and ideas are great, they just need to give it a bit more edge and clean it up.
However, I think SR is definitely a better FIRST single. The first single is KEY because to the general audience its "Axl spent 15 years on this? The other singles people will enjoy if the first single is impressive enough.

You do understand the concept of exclusivity, right? An exclusive deal at Wal-Mart means that no one will be able to purchase it on iTunes. It also means that a ripped copy available for illegal download would come from Wal-Mart. Let's just hope the damn album itself does not need a parental advisory if they decide to go exclusive with Wal-Mart. Because I can guarantee you will not be 100% satisfied if the ONLY version available for the public to listen to is edited. Good thing is most of the leaks are clean.
The physical album being released at Walmart has nothing to do with iTunes. If you think Chinese Democracy won't be on itunes you are mistaken.
There's nothing at all to worry about.. the album is coming out. Seriously. And to think we would only get the clean version is ridiculous

I enjoy the song (definitely grows on you) and could definitely see it as a single, but are we SURE this is Shacklers?
Either way though, we'll know for sure in less than a month

Naw not at all. He's been through this crap for years probably, why not get pissed when you have the same thing happening again?
It definitely is annoying when people come into threads saying things like "part 2 is coming." wtf is part 2? Part 2 of some new GNR photos? Part 2 of a new gnr fansite? part 2 of MSL giving us some leaks? Shackler?
And then "who said anything about MSL or him getting anything?"... uh isn't that pretty much what the whole thread is about?
So while you may be offended that people aren't jumping up and down about a 2 word teaser sentence after years of the same crap, it's not really hard to understand. Either you have something cool or you don't. Until you show for it no one should have to sit through these dumb "5 days until the event of a lifetime" threads. It's fucking stupid and it's been done a million times

I don't expect this to be Shaklers or anything. At the very most, maybe the lyrics and some of the messages he's gotten from hoarders over the years
