pretty impressive for a band that's been dormant for over a decade.
i don't know any bands that could be dead this long, lose all of it's key members other than the lead singer, and yet release a first single that rises towards the top of the charts within a week or so.
Any band with financial resources could do it. This proves that.

This is a scary time to be a responsible American. Our best hope is that 2010 will see the House make a major shift to Republican power. The damage he can do in 4 years with full control of Congress will make Bush's presidency look like paradise.
Today, the lazy asses win. Corporations (which happen to employ most Americans) will layoff millions of Americans as a result of the decisions of the democrats. At least when I get laid off thanks to Obama's ignorant economic ideas, I know he will see to it that I have money handed to me for doing nothing. Fucking socialists need a reality check before they destroy the country.

If the act was good enough for Bush, it's good enough for Obama. Now if you want to say we don't need the act anymore, that's fine.
Here are some numbers to put it in perspective:
How many dies of heart disease in America each year? 450.000.
How much is spent on preventing it each year? 3 billion dollars.
How many dies of terrorism in America each year (avg.)? 68
How much is spent on preventing that? 161 billion dollars.
So you want to talk about security and waste of your money, see for yourself. They don't care about your security, and they sure as hell don't care about your money. It's all about control, and we're paying for it!
Do you want me to pick one equally rediculous point to make that supports my side, because I can. You're fooling yourself if you think it is limited to 9/11 or terrorist events that have actually happened.

My wife has been a dem for as long as I've known her and is not only voting McCain, she's also voting for every rep running for congress in our area. Not everybody loves Obama.

I haven't downloaded any of the songs or the booklet, but who else was it going to be? Nobody else in the band could have carried it other than Axl and BH. Maybe BBF can going forward, but the majority of this was done long before he got there. There were no other options. Finck is a fine supporting guy in a rock band or a very good player in an industrial band, Stinson is a bass player, and Fortus is Fortus. It was ride BH or bust for the CD era.

Most of us like being safe. Most of us have nothing to hide. The Patriot Act, while not a wonderful bill, serves a purpose. Honestly, the gov't can wire tap me all they want, I don't care. They can spy on me, track me with GPS, whatever...someone is going to fall asleep trying to follow me around.
Whatever makes me safer, I'm ok with. I don't like waiting in lines at the airport to fly either, but I understand it helps protect my safety and I accept it. I'd much rather have my tax dollars going to protect my well being than to go to some lazy ass that doesn't think he needs to contribute to society by getting a job and paying taxes. Eliminate welfare, use that money to pay down the national debt. We waste more money on lazy people than anything else...and Obama wants to increase that while taking away from my safety? No thanks.

I'd be positive if Axl comes to my house for a private show.
#5719 Re: Guns N' Roses » The Great GNR Message Forum Sell out » 915 weeks ago
the inconsistency on GNR forums and in this thread in particular is hilarious. you guys get all up and tight and offended, overtly whining about all these guys insulting slash and bashing all these deluded axlites, and then turn around, and just as poorly, insult the new band.
some people on here (d-machine, buzz, tejanus) are so overly negative that they're as deluded and biased as the"OMG AXL IS GOD" crowd. two sides of the spectrum, both polarised opposites, but too many people act like axl worshipers are the sole problem. id much rather read "come on guys vote it up, this thing is gonna sell 5 million in its first week! hehe" than "look you fanboys, no one likes the single the only reason its getting play is because you fanboys skewed the results", however wrong either statement might be, i certainly know which one is more preferable to read.
i mean, i like guitar hero as much as the next man but fuck slash is a media whore and is as much to blame as axl in the whole fiasco, oh no am i troll now?!?!?
so many complaints about slash criticisms and all these terrible people bashing VR and poor scott weiland. yet you'll openly and stupidly say buckethead has no soul, bumblefoot and finck cant play, no one but us care about chinese democracy etc. wake the fuck up.
Are you still here? A few more posts like this and you won't be.

Has there been any word on a music video? If this album is gonna sell, they're gonna need a video to get the MTV crowd
I would think if there was going to be a CD video, it would be out already. My guess is single #2 gets the royal treatment right before the album is released...video, commercials, other advertising, etc.
