Not intoxicated.  Just tired and English is not my first language.  But still I hate it when people go "Oh it's all Axl's fault" or "It's all Slash's fault".  They broke up and both are to blame.  What are the exact reasons?  We'll probably never know.

While I am no Axlite, I am not a Slash nutswinger neither.  Your take is interesting but makes Axl out to be too much of a Saint.  Duff as always said it best for why GNR broke up.  Success came too fast too big for that band.  They were not ready for that success.  They all got big heads, big egos and it eventually clashed cause no one was backing down.  I remember Duff also saying (or maybe it was someone else) that during the illusions sessions, there were big battles going on with band members saying "I will play on your song only if you play or sing on mine.  Or I will play on your song only if I can sing on mine".  GNR broke up not just because of Axl, but also not just because of Slash.  I do not believe everything Axl says about this and do not believe everything Slash says about this.  I think there's a middle in all of this.  Remember it takes two to fight.  Axl didn't fight alone and neither did Slash.  My take is that they both have faults in this.

With the enormous collection I have I have to list them numerically.  Another album I can't tell on which shelf it is is Van Halen 3.  And like Libertad I can't even name one song from that album.  At least CD I think I could name all the songs, just not in the right order.  That is sad though when I think about it I seriously can't name one song from Libertad.  As for this skwerl guy.  Those who downloaded the songs and didn't buy the record.  They wouldn't have bought the album anyways.  They would've downloaded the songs after the record would've been out.  IF it had ever came out.

I downloaded the demos, bought the album and you wanna know where my copy of Chinese Democracy is?  I can't tell cause I can't remember where the fuck I put it.  And why I can't remember where it is?  Cause I stopped listening to the album a week or 2 after it was released.  And don't blame the leaks cause the leaks weren't on a regular rotation neither.  The album lacks something that is called good lasting music.  Not a bad album but not a memorable one.  So because of that CD is probably where my Libertad album is (another album I have no clue where I put it).  Although CD is better than Libertad it's as forgettable.  So that is why CD hasn't sold well.  ACDC and Metallica did well with their latest album, and reason is, both those bands released better records.
