EDIT: Also, apparently there is a song 'Panic Attack" by Finger Eleven. Doesn't mean very much though. I agree it's likely a fake, a pretty well made fake though.

Not some reporter asking a head at MTV If "MJ, Britney, N'Sync, Eminem, Dr Dre, GnR" will play the VMA's and the guy, not wanting to give any hints just saying "Oh yeah, we're talking to all of them" That doesn't mean anything to me. I mean, geez, Michael Jackson & N'Sync??!!  That right there tells how how seriously MTV is talking to "all of them"!!

I agree, Aaron Rodgers sat quietly & held a clipboard for years, and seemed to almost enjoy the role. I give him credit the  way he accepted it. But now to be told "You're the starter" then to be told "Wait you're not the starter" isn't good for one's psyche... He should play now.

Maybe they can trade Favre for something, but yeah, he made his own mess here. I like Brett, but he's gotta clean this one up. No one else. Personally I don't think he should have retired. Nobody would want to go out like that (throwing an INT, in OT, at home to lose the chance to goto the SB??)

Bono just an FYI someone posted earlier MTV actually owns Rock Band the video game. So they would have a vested interest in Nu-GnR if they're also on the game. I don't think they'll be playing though, U2 or more likely Metallica will be asked.
