^^ I remember that. I think it later turned out that the coach, Dennis Green, just always took pre-season seriously. Nothing wrong with it I suppose, he just wanted his players to play more & harder. So his starters would play a whole half, while the opposition would have their 3rd stringers in.

Spacehog was ok, but kindof a one hit wonder imho. Can the guy really write an albums worth of good song lyrics.

I think that's what is needed/expected with Slash's singer. Axl wrote tremendous stories embedded in Slash's signaature guitar riffs. The perfect compliment to each other. That is what I think Scott had the biggest weakness with. Alot of the songs lyrics made you wait until Slash put off his next riff, making it seem canned or generic (here we go again). Personally I'd rather they go in a different direction, however if they select him I'll be willing to hear the album before casting judgement.

He does (probably) live in NYC, is somewhat known, and could possibly be a good fit.... so he does fit the desciptions given to us. We'll see.

I understand it, it sucks but whatever if people want to keep it to themselves, that's their decision. Also, I'm sure they traded something to get that rare song, so it's like barter. It took alot of time & work too.

I'd prefer they leak it, especially in GnR's case since CD is so far off/possibly never being released. A band like Metallica or U2, the fans will hear it soon enough, so I understand hoarding.

Offhand, does anyone know if anyone that posts on any of the sites does have anything?? You don't have to name names, just curious if anyone ever came across someone (or has a strong suspicion) at a place like HTGTH or Chinesedemocracy.com?!

A little off subject I'm getting sick of this girl. At first I thought it was all a publicity stunt, her drug problems etc.. to gain fame in America. Then I heard a song of hers, and it was good, and she has a great voice. Yesterday I saw a clip of her doing a buumb of blow while onstage and it just looked too fake. She tries to 'pretend' to do it inconspicuously, but she was front & center. It seemed too much like they were trying to create a viral video sensation.
