P.S.  In less than 2 months I'll be talking to you folks from the ME.

All the best.

I don't see us going to war with Iran either. Too much WW3 involved, only I don't see ANY other countries joining us in the fight (for better or worse, not that it's their fault). Plus you're right about Russia & China becoming factors.

Cool review. He gave pretty high ratings IMHO but whatever, it's his opinion. Pretty funny the way it was written 'haning out with the cool kids smoking in the woods now'

how far do we wanna go back this time?

If you're not breaking it out by decade you might as well go of all time. I don't think many "albums" were out before mid-60's. I think the White album was one of the first, before then (Elvis, Sinatra) I think it was mostly singles. And I think only a few from the 60's & 70's will make the list.

PasNow are you sure the laws aren't already written like that?

I was referring to the piece stating potential future implications of the decision:

Randall Flagg wrote:

The issue caused a split within the Bush administration. Vice President Dick Cheney supported the appeals court ruling, but others in the administration feared it could lead to the undoing of other gun regulations, including a federal law restricting sales of machine guns. Other laws keep felons from buying guns and provide for an instant background check.

Although I guess if you have instant background checks there isn't as much need for a waiting period.

Wow, so in DC you weren't allowed to buy a gun at all??  Surprised that law lasted 32 years?!

I don't think there should be an out & out ban, however I do think felons shouldn't be allowed to own them. And I think Municipalities should have their own say as to whether to enforce background checks or the Brady Bill of a waiting period. There's a difference between going into a hunting store and buying a rifle as opposed to going into the guns & ammo shop on 7th & fairmount & buying a 9mm or semi.

I also think this gov't needs to spend more on it's prison system. I feel if you use a gun in a crime, especially any kind of attempted murder or murder charge, you should go away for a very long time. For murder at least 15 years before parole & really you should be held until you're 45-50. No second chances.

I was hoping, but no! 16  How do these "undercover cops" get a job like this?  What a tough job, huh?

It was probably a 12 month "on-going" investigation too... you know, to build their case. 16

$100 for a BJ & $40 for unlimited drinks??  I say, where's the crime?! 5
