I got a relatively cheap classical guitar a few months ago. I have been playing normal acoustic/electric guitar for around 10 years now and I always like how classical guitar sounded and I wanted to try it. The most annoying parts for me right now is I keep going back to electric, keeping my nails kind of long, and sight reading sheet music. I don't understand why classical guitar just doesn't use tab with the rhythm written on it, lute music from back in the 1500s even used tab so I don't understand why the shift happened. I probably should have gotten a bit more expensive one though, the one I am using goes out of tune very quickly. Granted, it has been very humid. I still like it a good deal though.
Yeah Songsterr is really good I have been using that site for years now, when I was younger I brought a ton of tab books, some are pretty funny. The GNR ones for the most part seem right. There are a couple of year parts on the anthology one like the WTTJ end solo starting on the E string and the SCOM solo sounding a touch off (I think). But overall, it isn;t bad. The Slash tab book fixes most of the mistakes. The worst one I own is a Black Sabbath one, Iron Man is in Eb tuning and it has you play the power chords on the third fret on the A string, even though it should be 7th on the E string, lol just so pointless

Could this mean anything https://twitter.com/RikiRachtman/status/1428495632537432066 is it just a random gnr show or is it about a new album? Weird Spotify would just have a gnr show if they aren't releasing anything idk. For the life of me I cannot get urls to work here I don't understand, other people do it right oh well.

The chorus for Slither would have sounded so good in 2010. No idea why he goes for the high voice now just sounds awful lol

Hmm that does make sense. Prostitute and TWAT are at the bottom of that alt list and there is no way Axl would be able to get through TWAT nowadays. Coma is pretty high on that list, though on a couple more recent performances he was like talk singing some of the end part.

One thing that worries me is how Hardschool was being rehearsed too but now has been dropped. This makes me think that they were going to release one song to promote the tour and they went with Absurd because it is easier to sing. But Beta said Absurd was part of the CD so idk

They play in Chicago on Thursday 9/16 and Atlantic City the weekend before. If they don't debut Hard Skool in CA or LV I can see it in Atlantic City then released the night of Chicago. Though like I said earlier, I would release the single the same day I play it live so that leaves CA, LV, or Chicago as the main spots I guess. That is pretty much it for big cities, IIRC Australian and Mexico dates got canceled. If we don't get Hardschool in Chicago I will start getting worried that Absurd was just released to promote the tour.

Yeah we already heard BBF's version of silkworms from 06 it leaked in like 2013. Very poorly mixed the person put all of ron's guitar just in the left channel so it is pretty much impossible to get it to sound right. It was also played at the after party where The General leak was. I am surprised out of all songs, Silkworms was being worked on for 20 years lol However the silkworms from The General leak had more guitars so it must have gotten worked on some more hmmm. Wonder if we will ever hear the 08 versions of these songs. Would rather hear the 03 versions, but knowing this band if there ever is a boxset it will be the Ashba Versions

That has to mean new song with Slash and Duff right? They still play CD songs. Though I will laugh if the next single is a reworked CD or Better and Axl calls it a new song.

I don't really hate Absurd, but I will say the song flowed a lot better on HOB and RM1. I feel like the best version of the song would be a studio studio HOB version. I am pretty surprised how much longer it is than the original version (minus the intro), idk still find it strange they released the worst song from the CD era to be the first single. Part of me thinks it was going to be Hardschool but they released Axl can't sing it, but that doesn't stop him from attempting 95% of the set lol.

Yeah Axl's voice was never the same from 91 - on compared to the 80s. Farm Aid Civil War is really good, Limelight 88 is very good, it has my fav Don't Cry. Bucharest 2010 is also very good. I think early 88 was peak Axl, his rasp never sounded better than in this performance IMO

The Nightrain you are talking about is from 09, I forgot if it is Tokyo or Osaka, but it is deleted off of Youtube. I also do enjoy 91-2010 a good deal too however.
