#591 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Slash to be on American Idol next week » 889 weeks ago
I just lost a ton of respect for Slash. Man this is so lame of him. I lost respect for Bon Jovi for doing the same lameass thing.
#592 Re: The Sunset Strip » Tupac Shakur Alive? » 889 weeks ago
I think he's alive. Every couple years you see a new Tupac record with new stuff. I mean come on! How many songs can one have in the vault?
#593 Re: Guns N' Roses » Matt Sorum: Axl shouldn't tour under GNR name » 889 weeks ago
To me, when Sorum says Axl shouldn't use the name its like a fan saying he shouldn't use the name. They really have no place to say what a founding member should or shouldn't do with their band.
Well for once I partially agree with what Asshole Sorum erm Matt has to say. But to say that Izzy is PROBABLY a core memeber. That is just ignorant. But I agree that Axl should've dropped the name GNR. I still view CD as an Axl Rose record and always will.
#594 Re: Guns N' Roses » GN'R May Announce Dates Soon » 889 weeks ago
At least I have something to fuckin' say that's fuckin' relevant.
You might not agree with me, and I not might agree with you Atari, but you're a damn fine poster.

Come on now. Let's not resort to that.
I honestly would like to know what was meant by the original comment.
Why? It's not gonna make any sense anyways.
I'm with you. I have no interest whatsoever to read what Paxcow has to say. And by the way since Dick's keywords are MAY, HOPEFULLY, HOPE and SOON. I'll regard this as pure crap for the moment.

I got into Tool when Aenema came out and have enjoyed their music since then. I do not have their box set. Today I got Undertow as a gift. Is it any good? What about the album that came out before that? I can't remember the name of that album. What do you guys consider to be Tool's best album?

It could be said there is integrity in that he will stick to his grudge rather than forgive a person for the sake of dollars.
I don't know or understand why Axl feels like he does about Slash...and like any fan from back in the day I wish he didn't - but at the same time I do respect that Axl can stick his ground against all odds - public opinion, millions of dollars....whatever else. One has to respect that on some level.
Why does the forgiveness have to be for dollars? Fuck the money, fuck the reunion, just grow up. Whatever happened happened 20 years ago. It's long past time to get over it. If you want to hate him for some other reason, fine. But if you're still mad about anything that happened 20 years ago that you're not willing to even talk to a guy that was a friend, you need to get over yourself.
No, there's no integrity in any of this. If Axl had integrity, he would not be touring (well I guess technically, he isn't) or releasing albums as Guns N' Roses. Sorry, his integrity went out the window at the VMAs.
I agree. Hating someone as much as Axl hates Slash isn't good for your health. And it is also very time consuming. You can forgive someone and not forget what that person did. I ain't saying Axl should like Slash. You can't like or love everybody. But for his sake I hope he learns to let go and just forgive him. Move on. Somebody did the most awful things to me when I was younger. I forgave him. Would I speak to him? If it is not necessary I won't speak to him. I don't like the guy, but I forgave him. I let go of the hate. I'm happy in my life and that is all that matters. Axl should do the same. Not for a reunion but for himself.
#599 Re: Guns N' Roses » Where is the Better Video..? » 890 weeks ago
I can't believe anybody is even looking for it. Who cares anymore?
I thought the same thing. I have given up on the idea of a video a long time ago and had even forgotten about it. Even the DJ Ashba story left me indifferent. Nothing is going on with GNR so why bother. And quite franctly you had to have your head in the sand if you didn't see this coming. I'm not even expecting another record from Axl not this year and in the next 3 either. I'm even expecting CD to be Axl's or GNR's last album. Seriously guys, expect nothing from GNR. That way you won't be disappointed and if by a huge miracle something happens, well you'll be gladly surprised.

Got my tix for the Quebec show. And Metallica does something I wish GNR would do. They offer you a download of the show you are attending for 12$ more. Sure you pay more but you have the cd for the show you went to.
