if someone has confirmation, post it.
seems much more likely that the rock band dude had some faulty info than the entire thing being staged, but anything is possible i suppose.

That being said, it's definitely not better... sounds nothing like the description.
I'm pretty sure we can just finally accept something at face value from GNR. If you watch the Shacklers info youtube video the harmonix employee even says "GNR doesnt want lyrics getting out etc."... why go through that if they have already played the song live?

You know, I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I do sort of feel bad for Axl and the fan base, like, Dizzy's wife said once that it's like opening your presents as a kid before Christmas and ruining the surprise. At the time (when she was talking about the Better, IRS, TWAT leak) I definitely didn't agree with her, but at this point you have to sort of think it would have been nice to hear this when everything was set in stone and ready.
The only reason I would prefer to hear this the way we did is because there's always the chance it could have never been set in stone, and thus we would have never heard about it... so I guess it's a good thing we DID hear about this.
Either way, I am definitely excited now... and I hope no one thinks I think hearing about it this way is that big of a deal, it was just more an afterthought in my mind. Like, fuck man, would have been killer to hear it from the horses mouth.
OH WELL. Officially excited

Oh well, fuck, sounds cool anyways. He didn't sound sure about the album(S!) being released in Sept, but it definitely sounds like they (4 wtf?!) will be out by Christmas. And VMAs is now pretty much confirmed (although I guess it could fall through)

Almost every Bucket solo has the kill switch even if its for just a second. I wonder if he did this so he left a mark so it wouldn't be confused. I think the killswitch is in every song. I like the effect, as long as its not overdone. So far, not overdone.
I guess everybody has their own opinions, but honestly, I think its just a TINY bit overdone. Keep it in 2 songs or less in my opinion. Killswitch should add to the song not detract from it and most of the time with the exception of IRS and that shred part in Better, I don't think it's needed.
