Every citizen have a right to vote and cost shouldn't be a barrier to that. What if someone's homeless - should they have a right to vote?
You're arguing to restrict voting access based on socioeconomic circumstance (which already is the case in some places).
Anyway, this problem is fixed with free federal issued ID.
Unlike the UK, the US has no National ID. And no, social security numbers don’t count. Nor is your SSN card required to register. The nation is trying to create “Real ID” standards for identification requirements in all 50 states since 9/11, but the process has already been delayed several years and was recently delayed until 2023. Some people in the US are adamantly against any form of federal ID, as evidenced by those opposed to e-verify. Only in America can you register to vote with a utility bill and nothing else.

This is incorrect. Quickly googling "Voter Id Laws' would tell you this.
If you want to be pendantic, sure, but none allow someone to register with a cable bill. And all require a state ID to register, and nearly all require that State ID to be present when voting. Would you please list those nations, cause the quick google and wikipedia search I did before posting my original statement just confirmed what I said above. The only exception being Australia, where voting is compulsory, which requires a State ID the first time someone registers to vote. Only 14 states in the US require ID, and those laws are being contested in court as we speak.
Point being the standard for identification in the US is vastly lower than any western nation, and only in the US can you vote in some states without an ID, which is not the case in any Western nations. But please let me know where I'm wrong, and I'd love to hear your discussion on the topic and not trying to snipe me.

In 2016, we saw one of the two major political parties get hacked. We also saw public facing election sites (with no actual information connected to vote records, but public voter information) get hacked. 2021 has had a major gas line and our meat industry hit by Russian hackers. With all due respect, I don't trust people who think the internet is a series of pipes to safeguard our infrastructure and election systems. With this realization, which party is fighting to protect our integrity and which is working to make it even easier to have no oversight and qualified confidence the systems are working as intended? The new bill outlaws voter ID. We're the only western country that doesn't require it, and one party wants to codify into federal law that you can't validate who someone is when they vote? Meanwhile this same party wants a 30 day waiting period, vigorous background check and a $200+ tax stamp to exercise another right.

Manchin just came out against the new Voting Rights Act and affirmed he won’t allow his party to remove the filibuster. This man may be the bravest Senator in the Senate. And is a true patriot

What's everyone's stance on the infrastructure package if Republicans refuse to vote for it no matter what compromises are made? What's the right way to do it? If no Republicans vote for it, why should the Dems negotiate at all?
Both sides are compromising. The original plan Biden and progressives proposed isn’t even supported by all Democrats. Nor were the GOP’s plan supported by all Republicans. You should genuinely look at the content of each bill, and opine your feelings on what should be cut and added. Then evaluate if your position is supported by even 50 senators before blaming one side or the other.
Our country needs this bill, and I don’t think it should address anything that isn’t infrastructure, especially very contentious items like paid daycare. Democrats rammed the unpopular ACA in 2010 and what happened? They lost power. Republicans rammed through The Tax revision, and what happened? They lost power.
Maybe pushing partisan ideas through without bipartisan input isn’t politically prudent if you want to retain power.

If we don't hear anything official by end of month, the answer is no. They're not going to announce a new album in the middle of a tour, they'd obviously do that before and have a single to build hype and sell tickets. So if the best we have are alleged comments made by Fortus on a podcast by June 30th, nothing is coming in 2021.

Biden's most recent counteroffer seems very promising. Gonna be very hard for the GOP to not support it. I don't agree with raising the corporate tax rate (we're still higher than a lot of Europe), but I do agree with implementing a minimum of 15% and closing loopholes. Biden's plan, if implemented correctly, would bring in much more revenue forcing a minimum of 15% rather than letting Amazon and every other behemoth avoid paying any taxes through loopholes and deductions and raising it to 28%.
Here's hoping the nuts on both sides don't sink it. We're the wealthiest nation in the world, our bridges shouldn't look like shit.

China makes shit cheap and people like cheap shit and to a degree they have kept our suppliers honest from fvcking us even harder.
I am all for cutting ties with China, but our costs will go up across the board I would imagine.
Distancing ourselves in any meaningful fashion isn’t possible. They have the precious minerals needed to make microchips and circuitry. Ours were all shut down. They make our electronics. This isn’t something that can be done at the drop of the hat. Mass processor output manufactured in the US would take years and subsidies to manifest. Trade laws and our inability to ever legislate properly something like this just makes it impractical. We design the damn things, but they’re manufactured in China.
We need China more than they need us day by day. The real threat is if China bans US exports, not if we reduce our imports.

The usual carrot to sell a few more tickets
Agreed. But a carrot every few years isn’t a bad thing. I much prefer this to years of silence.
