Maybe this is part of an intentional push to get their brand out there so they can be seen as the professional management group that they are.

It's a call to any bands out there, if they want a management team that will clean their house, then subsequently move their whole family in with you, then get on board.  They specialise in a number of crucial areas:

Relationship Management - they will assist you with ostrasizing your fellow band mates, friends & anybody else of note in the music industry.

Digital Media - family members will happily leak your music online.

Web Presence - they will maintain an online profile for you by personally abusing fans on message boards.

Back Catalogue Management - they will ensure that any previous band members don't make a cracker more than they should out of your previous bodies of work.  They will be unwavering in this pursuit despite any pressure placed on them by misguided fans that simply crave more of what they love.

New Music Development - this is really their speciality.  They will assist you in getting your music to the massess.  Quality product on a consistent basis.

Publicity - hard hitting interviews organised with some of the toughest music journalists going around.

Marketing & Album Release Strategies -  State of the art website, music videos, proof reading and quality control of artwork, bonus issues, live DVD's/Blu Rays, demos, bonus tracks.  You name it they do it.

Knowledge Management - they will keep you functioning like a normal band.  Fans, promoters & the record label will always know WTF is going on.

Can Do Attitude - "No" is a word you will never hear said to you.

Flitering - they will make sure only important information flows through to you.  Facts, reality and truth are unimportant in this process.

Time Management - lol

Many other services too numerous to list.  So sign up for your newsletter now.  There will probably only be one of them so make sure you don't miss it.

Maybe they are hoping to pick up some other bands to manage.  I don't like their chances.

I believe this is what Axl's management team call themselves.

Yeah I thought that too, ignoring the Axl comment, Sheen actually didn't say all that much about Slash, he said more about himself.

"We've got the tour that's gonna go into next year, we're starting work on the next record," Slash says. It will be with the same band with which he made the current Apocalyptic Love album.

Another album quickly is cool but at the same time im somewhat disappointed.  I like a number of songs off the new album and I'm always hanging out for more Slash stuff, but Myles' voice is very polarizing.  I find he either sounds great on a song or he sounds quite irritating. I don't find a lot of middle ground with how he sings.

Long term I don't feel he is the right vocalist for Slash.

Yea I'd tend to agree w/ppp on that one.

Aussie why do u think Slash'd have a different tone? Has he said anything post-HoF about Axl?
Certainly it gives him more ammo to turn the fans against Axl if he wanted to pursue that angle. But it looks to me that Slash is almost a little fed-up w/the GnR question & Axl blame-game..

He just seems to give me the impression in interviews post HOF that he has finally put that part of his life plus any chance of a reunion behind him. He doesn't even wanna waste any more time even talking about Axl and all that shit anymore.

Prior to HOF maye there was a very small glmmer of hope that they could at least use it as a time to put the knives away for good and be gracious and act like grown ups. Maybe Slash's standpoint even started changing before then with shit like the cancer comment happening etc etc. with HOF being the cherry on top.

As for Slash's book I recall hearing around the time it came out that the first daft was actually harsher on Axl but Slash ended up toning it down somewhat in the final version.

I hear what you and PPP say too, Slash has skeletons like the Todd Crew thing plus plenty of others I'm sure that he would prefer remained in the closet.

Yeah I would be very curious to read a book by Axl.  It would be interesting to get a further insight into his warped mind.  16

Agree it would be self serving just like the other guy's books.  But his perception of stuff I'm sure would be entertaining. It would probably help to piece together some of the stories and events that we only have one sides take on.

I actually wish that Slash hadn't written his book until now - after the HOF.  I think it would have a slightly different tone about it.  Yeah you could argue that Slash didn't paint Axl too good in his book, but shit I'm sure he held back a lot and could have really gone to town on him, but dind't for diplomatic reasons.  I don't think he would be so diplomatic if he wrote it now. JMO.

What is wrong with people expecting that he can give everyone who asks for it a meet up or chat or whatever.  It's not fucken possible.  The guy is way more interactive and fan friendly than anyone else in the band, or any other musician that I know as it is.
