There's a town in Virginia called Manassas that I see when driving on I-95.
Also, there's a town in PA called Jim Thorpe. Only problem is Jim Thorpe the athlete wasn't born in or never lived there. Never even set foot in the town. I don't know the full story but I think he died broke & his family couldn't afford the funeral, so the town offered to bury him in hopes it would draw modest interest from nearby locals to the town. Only they also decided the rename the town in his honor. Supposedly alot of people were even against it back then, and they are finally just now using their previous name more often, Mauch Chunk.

If done right, this movie could be good. Lohan would be a good choice as well. HOwever I'm sure it will be very Hollywooded up & basically be similar to Chainsaw 2003 or whatever.
BTW - Is Chapter 27 the movie CITR was rumored to be on a while ago??! I thought that was supposed to be out back in 06. Or am I thinking of another movie that came out.

Big GN'R fan. Not enough room to list all my faves but my favorite GN'R song is still "Welcome to the Jungle". And thanks to Guitar Hero III, I've learned that you haven't lived until you've played it on a plastic guitar. Adrenaline kicks in every time I hear it!
That's pretty funny.

Yeah, lyrics are a bit weak, but overall not too bad.

I'm sure it's fake, but it is pretty well done. THe UFO is crappy, but the way it's layed into the video & lighting of it etc matches really well.

2 things. The election is still 7+ months away, so the constant infighting between Hilary & Obama is hurting them now, it may not resonate come the fall. However, I do believe that the dems may need to team up in order to win this thing (Pres & the other be VP). One things for sure, they do need each others support. If Hilary wins, she'll need Barack to deliver a powerful, uniting speech during the convention. If Barack wins, he needs Hilary AND Bill, to endorse him and help campaign for him. As well as other members like Al Gore & John Edwards etc.
I do think Barack is going to end up winning, the big question is if and moreso how much the Clintons will support him. Regardless, people like Gore, Kennedy & Edwards, Michael Bloomburg can step up.

is because the anus wasn't designed to strecth. Anal intercourse tears the anus and obviously, traces of blood exist creating the bridge to spread the virus.
:bed: And the winner for the most disgusting post of the year goes to...
Randall Flagg wrote:Simply put, the most unsafe form of sexual intercourse is between two men.
That's not really true... Statistically, many more straight people have anal intercourse than gays. A lot of the gay people I know don't even have anal sex.
Check here: http://www.garynull.com/documents/Conti … x&AIDS.htmThe most unsafe form of sexual intercourse is anal sex, but there's no difference whether it's between a man and a woman or a man and a man.
Well, the counterarguement would be more gay man have AIDS than striaght women (Total number and percentage wise). Therefore, a a gay man having anal with another gay man does increase the chances of contracting AIDS over a straight couple.
Now, on a level playing field, if there are 10 gay men standing in a room, and 1 has AIDS, and 10 straight woman in a room and 1 has AIDS. If you chose a man & woman to have anal with, then yes for the most part your odds are about the same. Now, in regular society, I do think it favors getting it from a gay man than a straight woman.
Ughh that was disgusting, I think I need to shower after that post.

As far as you mentioning GNR is choosing not to sue, it's because DR did nothing wrong.
How many people mention GNR in an article that is basically what they did, nothing has been done professionally yet.
True. If it remanins in this viral marketing/rumor/press release issued or whatever's currently going down you're right. Axl has little to no recourse over this. And I might add that that it would have been a pretty ingenious ploy by those at the ad agency to pull such a grassroots campaign. However, my basis for my debate was that Dr Pepper was preparing for a full launch of a campaign, to use GnR tie ins on advertising stating "We gaurantee you CD will be out, or you get a free can of soda" without prior consent.
My interpretation, is that that is likely the case, and yet somehow word got out (whether intentionally or unintentionally) before the full fledged launch. I still stand by my belief everything was previously agreed upon, and everyone else is entitled to believe whatever or whoever they want. I'm trying to leave this all alone so it's my last post on this.
About the legal implications...
For the record, I'm not saying Axl's lying... it's all part of the promotion. It's a game. Dr Pepper challenges and Axl Rose remains mysterious and accepts the challenge without ever saying the album will definitely come out in 2008. It's creating a buzz.
I agree, it's part of the ploy to downplay any prior knowledge. Just my humble opinion.

Sure thay can.
PaSnow wrote:McDonalds cannot issue a product tie in saying "Get a free Big Mac when you turn in a Batman The Dark Knight ticket" They pay huge amounts of money to use those trademarks.
Actually, in this example, it would be Warner Brothers who's paying McDonalds.
No offense Mole, but these two statements right here tell me you don't know about this issue. You're drastically wrong on these two it's astonishing. Fast food resturants pay huge amounts of money to use a movies subject matter & name in promo tie-ins.
