#6351 Re: Guns N' Roses » GnR to be focus of an enstallment of Guitar Hero? Doesnt Look Like It » 949 weeks ago
I can't imagine GnR is high up on Activisions desired list. Metallica & U2 would far outsell GnR. Probably Pearl Jam as well, although I don't know if they'd be interested in doing it (have any of their songs been on GH?). RHCP would be cool, especially if some songs you played the bass lines instead.
Besides, with GnR they could run into alot of contractual & rights issues. If so, 86 that ideea.

It looks dubious, however there's also some room for the web developer/editor to add an extra shade or two to prove his point. The ads haven't come here yet, so I'd rather judge something like this on my one, not pics someone posted onto the internet. Too much room for error. If it is true, I certainly would agree it was intentionally done, not an accident.

I never got into D&D or understood the lure of it all. I agree he was inventive & made a huge impact on video games & alot of people, but just something I never got.
Anyway, RIP man.

But the fans still make me hate them. It's a shame.
Sucks for you then. I hate the Cowboys but you don't see me bitching about it on the internet.

First off, 50% of the NHL cities probably shouldn't even have hockey teams (Atlanta, COlumbus, Tampa etc). Second the whole Santa Claus thing was 40+ years ago, and our team stunk & they brought out some sorry ass looking Santa Clauss reject. We've had our bad moments, booing Michael Irvin when he went off on a stretcher, fan fighting Tie Domi in the penalty box (legendary), but we have our shining moments of passion as well. Like a fan who ran out onto the Eagles field & was tackled by security. Later we found out he was spreading his Mothers ashes onto the field, her dying wishes. Or booing Destiny's Child for being stupid enough to wear a Lakers jersey during their NBA finals halftime performance, WTF was she thinking??! Dumb broad. It's a hard town, and isn't for everyone. Look at Pat Burrell, he gets booed out in Left Field every day yet refuses to leave this town. He even has a no-trade clause in his contract and never lifted it because he doesn't wanna leave. Jeff Garcia thrived here, and if you watched a Colts game where we were beat badly he was hurt & AJ Feeley began warming up. Garcia came back in & was booed heavily. He never lost again until the NFL championship game, 5 regular season wins & a playoff game.
I didn't see the play, and I don't agree with booing a player after an injury, but whenever it happens in New York the announcers always joke "There goes that Bronx cheer, hahaha" but when it happens in Philly it's a terrible shame. I certainly wouldn't call Philly the worst sports fans in the country.
#6357 Re: The Garden » Today's Primaries » 949 weeks ago
^^ Yeah, I can't imagine anywhere close to 50% of dems even bothered to vote, because they stated it wouldn't count. Not really fair to later count it. It'd be like a teacher giving a test saying "This won't count" then nobody studies for it, then 2 weeks later the teacher says "Ok, that test counted".
I kinda wish this would end, as do they I'm sure. I think all states should move their primary to April 22nd & just get this overwith. PA will likely be close to 50/50, so it's going on to whatever state is next, just checked wiki & it's Indiana & NC.
#6358 Re: The Garden » Today's Primaries » 949 weeks ago
^^ You're right, Texas is not a swing state, at least not one I would bank on. But I think either dem would win Ohio. & they are talking about re-voting in Mich & Fl. I think that'd be the right think to do. Allow the people to really get a voice, not just a small % of the people who decided to vote anyway even though they thought their vote wouldn't count. Just don't do it the same day as PA.. We need $$ coming into our economy from political ads, hotels, restuarants!! Holler!
#6359 Re: The Garden » Today's Primaries » 949 weeks ago
I dunno, I think Hillary might win this thing. She's won Texas, Ohio, NY, which are all key states to win in the general election. PA is going to be close, but she does have the endorsement of our Governor, and Philadelphia's Mayor (Who is black). Obama is left out in the cold & will need some big endorsements in PA. Our former mayor, who was black, would support Obama, but he wasn't very well liked here among many people, so that endrosement could actually hurt Obama. After him, it'd just a bunch of state legistlators that he could get endorsements from. Still, I think Obama will do good here, alot also depends on the Unions endorsements. One other thing he has going is it is 6 weeks away. So he has planty of time to rest & rethink. He's seemed really tired recently, and hasn't been giving the same type of speeches he had in the past. I hope he comes downtown on a weekend, I'd like to go see him.
We're at the halfway point of Iowa & PA.

Yeah, he is truly a Legend of the game. Gave such mystique to Lambeau field & the Packers. A throwback to the Johnny Unitas days. Can't believe the guy never missed a start.
Sucks his last pass was a INT Gunslinger, and I wish he came back & tried to redeem himself, but i guess it wasn't meant to be.
Not the greatest QB, but he was great.
