You're right, I thought it was the opposite. I guess they lost that round.

Yep, stick a fork in HD-DVD. Sony did the same thing to Beta tapes, in strong arming companies to use VHS.

Yeah, it's the momentum. At first Hillary was supposed to win (I thought it'd be Hillary v. Guiliani). Then Obama was giving a good race. Then it's 50/50, now Obama sweeps this past weekend. If he sweeps tomorrow (DC, MD, VA) it's close to being done. More & More people will join in & keep supporting him. It's a trend that Obama has been increasing votes. Hillary really hasn't increased at all, just has her same base of supporters.

If he sweeps the primaries on Tuesday(virgina, maryland, district of Columbia), Hillary has been knocked to the canvas and the ref is at the 8 count.
Its not looking good right now for her.
I think your right. And I think Obama will clearly win DC & Hawaii, so it comes down to Virginia & Maryland. Also, just my humble opinion, but for some reason I would think Obama would win Ohio, although I haven't seen polls. I dunno about Texas though but March 4th could be huge with Texas & Ohio.

As for this weekend, Hillary just needs to quit making excuses & realize America is diverse. Wash is young, Louisiana is black, but alot of states are that way. She can't keep saying "Oh well we lost that stat because...." and "Obama did well here because...' Otherwise in a few weeks, it'll be over because Obama won the black vote, or the wealthy vote, or the educated vote, or the young vote. Hillary, that's what makes up alot of America!!

I'd have to agree. The 'Better' leak in early 06. Followed by the VMA performace. The 2006 Tour also got me hyped. Everything else was just kindof repitition (other leaks, 07 tour, 02 tour kindof coattailed the VMA hype).

Ashame, I hope he's ok. Yeah, Hockey sometimes has some near lethal injuries. Malarchuk & I remember a few years ago Chris Therien took a slapshot against Ottawa that sailed up & hit the defenseman's adam's apple, basically chrushing it. He couldn't breathe & collapsed down onto the ice immediately. I heard as they were getting him off onto the stretched they had to poke a hole into the bottom of his throat with a pen so he could breath. His throat box was all f'ed up.
EDIT: That one was at Montreal, not Ottawa.

Sorry to hear that LLL, posting some notices will definitely help. I'd be crushed if I lost my little buddy. Hopefully you'll find him/her.

It's Goldschlager [spelling??] and yeah, it has gold flakes in it. Jaeger is good stuff, tastes like black licorice, but however drunk you are when you take a shot, double it is how you'll feel later in the night. Everytime I done it has been a crazy night.
Another good drink is Petron, Tequila that goes down like water. They have a new coffee flavored one for the wintertime, try it out, good stuff!!
#6459 Re: The Garden » Tarot Card Readings » 953 weeks ago
Some friends of mine hold a cool Halloween party every year, and someones sister did tarot cards one time. She researched it & everything & most people said it seemed pretty accurate. I went up, and right away she said "Wow your very pessimistic" or something along those lines. Which is true. She went on, most seemed fairly accurate, but it was awkward in knowing her, & hearing her say some of the things (lacking love life, disliking my job etc). Overall, being she was only a novice, I was pretty impressed.
I also went to a palm reader down the shore on a whim with friends. She mentioned when I will live until (78, but I really didn't care to hear that). The one thing of note, apparently my fate line or destiny line isn't there (deals with love life) basically isn't there. It runs straight up your hand into your middle finger). So I can blame that for likely never getting married. Anyway befor eleaving she asked if I had any questions. At the time I really liked/loved this girl who only wanted to be "just friends". I asked her if anything will ever come of it, and she looked me in the eye, and said I really like this girl, but maybe it isn't meant to be. I was saddened though, not because of her answer, but because I knew she was speaking to me just as a person, giving advice, no mystique about it. So it really seemed to negate everything she previously told me.
Overall, I think the Tarot seemed more accurate than palm reading. Just MHO.

Laverne & Shirleys theme song, I always thought they sang "Vermeil, Vermazzel, Positive Incorporated"
I still have no idea what they say.
