What a sad shit show. Hey Queensryche, welcome to the world of L.A Guns and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Neither version will have much success, guaranteed, but the edge almost always goes to the vocalist.

I know it's asking too much, but it's nuts to me if Axl doesn't perform on Kimmel. Are there any other musicians that go on late night and don't do at least one tune before chatting?  I can come up with reasons for him NOT to, but none of them are flattering, and I still love the crazy mofo, as mind-bendingly frustrating as his career has been.

Maybe we'll get lucky and he WILL whip out a quick acoustic with some of the guys, but I think we all know it's not very likely.

I've got a ton of Showcases near me but the closest its showing is CT. I'm north of Boston so that's a no go.

As long as it's not Bob Rock... wink

BOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I loved Murray's idea of him being in it, but only if he was a ghost. Genius, and opened up a ton of potential in terms of comedic plot line.

Yeah, age-wise, I think I was in 6th grade when Justice hit, so that was the first one I got into. Before that, 'tallica was still mainly being passed around on dubbed cassettes.

You ever given any thought to what Justice would sound like with bass? On the one hand, I'd love to hear it, but on the other, the choice to bury it gave the album a VERY distinct and cutting sound. I'd still like to hear it, but I don't know if it would improve it.

I'd laugh too if I'd convinced Dizzy he could play acoustic keyboards.

I pretty much use the first 5 Metallica albums as workout albums, and have since high school, so I've listened to them 1000's of times. Amazingly, they never get old to me. And though I love the Black album and still play the shit out of it, in retrospect it had all the signs that they were just about done being blisteringly awesome.

I'm dumbfounded and jealous at the same time.
