Even if it was prearranged, who cares, it was a damn entertaining interview, I laughed alot during it and it was great to hear Axl on a show after such a long, long period of silence.
I don't really care - I was just responding to downliner's comments.
I don't think it's an act Scabbie. Some of it is certainly blown out of proportion or taken out of context to make Axl look bad, but he's eccentric at the very least. Axl has a lot of good qualities and often tries to do the right thing. For some reason, things just seem to blow up on him no matter what he says or does. Some of that is coincidence, but it can't all be.

In the Trunk/Axl interview that was apparently not pre-planned it always struck me as weird that one of the other guys says: "Axl, let me ask you this. I have to go there, I said I would, who do you prefer Maiden or Priest?".
As soon as he said that it struck me as a little odd. If they weren't expecting Axl to be there when had he planned to ask Axl which band he preferred?

I just read Ronnie Brown is out for the year with a torn ACL. I think I had him on every one of my fantasy teams too. Ugh.

I didn't know until this thread that they didn't have a GH. I just assumed one was out already.
I like James' collection, but admittedly would listen to CD2 a lot more than CD1. Other than Battery and Master of Puppets, I can live without hearing any of them anytime soon.

Exactly. The possiblities of this ending up bad far outweigh the possibilities of this inspiring Axl to release CD.
I just don't understand what bad could come of this? If at least the songs Axl is on are good, then how could that be bad?
Oh, I don't know. Maybe people say they suck and CD is put on hold for another 4 year period of perfecting the vocals? Maybe it never comes out? Maybe he feels the need to write new music. The bad possibilities are endless. The only good one is it inspires him with the confidence to release CD.

Mole, i don't think beta needs any more money, why would she do something out of greed ?
She is not far from retiring now, is she ?
There are many different levels of greed. Maybe what she needs isn't financial, maybe it's an emotional need that this situation addresses for her. No matter what, it isn't normal and it isn't healthy. Yes, Axl is crazy, but we all already knew that.
