Fine, then let's be totally honest with ourselves. IF Axl had done that, WE ALL KNOW that he would've then been slammed with "Axl dodged the real questions".
You know it man. I don't care what you think or anyone does for that matter, about the guy, but he can't win on some of this shit.
I agree. The same people complaining about this interview are the same people that are complaining Axl never does them. And now that he does he gets slammed. What will happen now? No more interviews for a long while. I've always been one that hated reading or hearing the original or 2nd lineup of GNR slamming Axl and ore each other. But Axl slamming Slash this time, while I do not like it I have to admit Slash had it coming. Slash in up till 06 or 07 was very critical of Axl in interviews. Plus, Axl slammed the door shut on a reunion. But if Axl does more interviews, I hope he goes easy on his Slash remarks. He can say no reunion without slamming Slash. But for this time. Slash had this coming for a long time.

I think that has more to do with the interviews. Just like with Axl, they don't care about new Guns, they want to talk about old, and the same with Slash. Fuck VR, we want to talk about the same old shit with Guns 9 times over.
I really don't understand the hatred towards Axl over his comments. He's actually being honest. They asked him the SAME exact questions they ask Slash, it's just Axl actually gave an honest opinion. Not saved it for selling a book (Slash).
While personally I hate it when Slash, Axl or any member of original GNR bashes each other, I can't blame Axl here. He was asked a question and he answered honnestly. Plus It's his first interview in a real long time so you had to expect it. Plus Axl ended the reunion hopes. Which is good cause now fans can move on. I would loved more in depth stuff on CD but what can we do. Also the idea of Axl MAYBE collaborating with Izzy on new music is very exciting.

I have no idea. Was done for a GNR special on Much More Music when they toured in 02. It was an interesting piece. Nothing important was revealed but it was nice seeing why Tommy joined in that mess.

I'll never criticise a musician for bitching about people downloading their music. I've done it plenty of times, but they're right, it's taking a product that's meant to be sold and getting it for free.
This is ridiculous though, all his music over some videos on youtube is going to do is help expose some people to his music who might not have otherwise come across it. It will help not hurt.
I ain't criticizing him cause he bitches about people downloading him. I agree with him on that. I just humorized about how it's the first time in like years that he hasn't mentioned Axl and or GNR. Quite an accomplishement. And I agree with Bono. By not allowing his music to play on youtube, he is basically asking that his music will never be heard. Where I disagree with Bono is that Baz is not an idiot for doing so. He is being nice. NOBODY will hear his music and that is the greatest news of the day folks! Cause aside from Skid Row he basically released only crap. So thanks Baz for doing us a favor and a favor to our ears. We all ow you one.
