it was just a vague mention by a lady who definitely has a lot of scoop and lives on the west coast...I think she is a writer. Sorelle Saidman was in the thread as well. Wasn't she suppose to do a book on Axl?
I keep hearing that it didn't work out with Ashba (for some reason).

I don't disagree.
However, I'm pretty sure that there were a few last minute changes to the tracklist (Catcher in the Rye swapped in at the 11th hour ...) and this was definitely influenced by what had / had not leaked.
My guess is that CD II will be pretty similar to CD I.

I remember going there last December to pick up Dark Knight and looked at the GNR chinese democracy display, I'd say at most 10 cds were sold--there was still a majority left in the display rack.
I'm gonna guess you've never worked in retail.
Most stores try to keep the display racks looking "full."
