I think churches should pay taxes since they play such a heavy role in politics
What role do they play mitch? Are you claiming that all these churches that fundamentally oppose each other are forcing their congregations to vote for the same people?
Now I do believe they should pay taxes, but not for the reasons you apparently do.

I don’t want self-righteous assholes like yourself getting to say I’ve been here for generations.
The whole policy’s foundation is a bunch people like you who are at best ambivalent about the fact that you’re reaping the benefits of what someone did in your lineage a century ago.
You don’t get to have it both ways in my eyes.
If you think all this is about is Democrat’s securing votes then you’re a damn fool.
Where do you come up with this stuff? Do you realize how off the mark and dishonest all of this is? No one, I repeat no one has made any claim that someone whose ancestors migrated here 400 years ago has any greater claim to this nation than someone who gained citizenship recently or is a 2nd or 3rd generation American. You're saying this because you can't justify why allowing millions of central americans to illegally enter this nation and stay here is desirable, let alone based in any legal or moral code.
ID said illegal immigration has turned California from Red to Blue. You asked for evidence, because as always you don't have a clue. Then when I link and provide that info, you pass it off as if you already knew that and forget that you asked for evidence just a post earlier. You're a complete joke.
You can't support your opinions with evidence, so you distort and fabricate the opinions of others so you can post some insults and pat yourself on the back for being a good progressive. It's really, really sad.
Here is your patron saint, saying we need to do exactly what Trump has said and saying there is a humanitarian crisis at the border at the 2:50 mark
"Our direct messages is don't send your children to our borders" - Barack Obama July, 2014
"My job in the executive branch is the enforce the laws congress has passed" - Barack Obama, September 2013
You want to call me dishonest while you take the former's president's words out of context to loosely support your meandering claims.
Give it up man...you're the one that's uninformed. Who gives a shit about Maryland? You seem cool with gerrymandering...great, have a party.
It's a retarded argument to say that immigrants turned a state. Mind mindbogglingly retarded. You're creating an argument in reverse.
This dishonesty you portray in this thread is a unique brand of dishonesty.
Why not prove the dishonesty? I didn't watch these videos but I've seen the first one before. Nothing is taken out of context in that interview related to the illegal immigration issue. Its actually pretty black and white.
Make a point with facts for once. Humor us.

mitch only prefers order when it's his version of order. Otherwise he's fine with anarchy.

Don't worry...in mitch's world once we're done paying for slavery from several generations ago, we're going to pay off the Native Americans. Once we're done with that, we'll start paying England's other colonies. Clearly we haven't done enough for the rest of the world yet. /sarcasm

Well, you're one of them. You can be grateful for your business, your life, and the ability to be online and be as big of an obnoxious ignoramus as you want. What happened to the ignore feature?
Well...yes those are things to be grateful for but to whom or what should i be grateful?
To you? Is that what you’re implying?
How the hell did you possibly get that I was saying you should be grateful to me from my post?
Mitch being mitch

But tell me though...just who or what are we all supposed to be grateful to? Jeebus? The flag?

Start with living in a country where you can act like a douche and wind up as President or maybe just a tool on a gnr board obsessed with the President.

Ironic. Considering most of us spent upwards of 15 years on a band website awaiting new albums, of which we recieved one. 12 years ago. Why bother posting, reading threads, rumors, links etc
"22 more weeks till Christmas! This is the year"
You won't see my posts in 99% of those threads. I posted about the stuff I enjoyed/cared about. Sure, early on I got into a bunch of Robin/Slash debates, but eventually figured out that someone else enjoying something different doesn't take away from my enjoyment of it. I still don't follow the updates...it's the same thing on repeat. Sure, they're working on new stuff...I'll get excited when it's on an official list somewhere. Until then I have a show to attend (my 6th on the NITL tour) in a couple months. I get plenty of enjoyment out of that whether there's a new album or not. The same setlist would be fine. I just enjoy the experience.
When Trump gets caught with something that matters (and I do believe at some point he will), I'll be glad to tear him apart. As much as I didn't agree with Obama's policies, I never (as far as I can remember) tore him apart. I certainly attacked his healthcare plan and the Dream Act or whatever it was called. I wasn't a birther. I certainly didn't take issue with having a black President nor would I have taken issue (or will I in the future) with a qualified and deserving female President. Frankly I like Obama more now that he's out of office, and that goes for most Presidents. Once they have some perspective and they are no longer really in bullshit politics anymore, the rhetoric softens and you get more diplomatic responses. He was flawed like every other President has been, but they almost all look better after they are out of office. Trump may be the exception to that; we'll see.
We know Trump's game. It's tired, but it's not going to change. So you can cry about it for another year plus (or maybe 5 years plus if he lives that long) or you can understand he's just going to say what he thinks instead of thinking about what he says. I think he is probably a little smarter than you guys want to give him credit for, but I get it. I even get waiting for him to crash and burn, but this was what felt like the 100th time he was going down because of an investigation and the other 99 times he's still standing. There's no reason to think this will be different until it is. It takes a LOT to get a President out of office and the current setup it's going to take a miracle even thought many Republicans aren't Trump fans either.

I can't tell you how many of the ominous posts have been made in this thread with crickets afterwards. Sooner or later something will come of one of these, can we wait until it does to post about it?
This thread is amusing.

Regardless, It completely astonishes me what behavior you’ll give him a pass for but damn you’ll criticize me.
He's not here acting retarded, you are. If he was here, I'd be happy to treat him as I treat you...after all you have way more similarities with him than you'd ever want to admit.
I have more clout in this thread than the president.

Well, you're here being you. He's not here. If you can get him to join and he says stupid shit (highly likely if you could actually get him to join), I'd be happy to call him on it.
We don't love trump. We just don't see the value in bitching about him nonstop on a guns n roses forum.

You disgust me with how you hold me to higher standards than politicians on the right.
Insults aside, I don't understand how after maybe 4 years or so of this thread or another version of it you can't see that you do the exact thing you're bitching about here towards the left. Please tell me this is part of your schtick and you're not really this ignorant...
