The drop out Hillary supporters must really love Trump. You can't keep claiming an election is rigged every time Sanders doesn't win by a landslide.
I live in a country where almost every politician in the US including the Democrats are considered to be to the right and I could see the appeal of Sanders if he ran this side of the pond, but his supporters online are just as crazy as the far right. It shouldn't help when you have organisations like the Young Turks backing you and trying to organize protests for you.
When Sanders endorses Hillary after his loss, alot of his supporters aren't going to buy it.
It's not even just that, but when superdelegates can just choose whoever the fuck they want, regardless of the people, that just shows you that your vote won't really matter in the end.

I seen on one of the videos, someone complaining about the drummer
.
That said, the comments from people saying "they should have got the tribute band singer" have obviously never listened to the tribute band singer.
Some of them wanted him over Axl. Ouch.
He sounds pretty good!

I'm ready for Tower of Joy next week. This may be the episode I've looked forward to the most, even though tonight's was exceptionally good.

I'm not gonna blow a wad over hearing some shitty youtube clips outside a rehearsal space, but he definitely sounds like he's taking it seriously. Can't wait to see some boots of this.

Monkey i'm gonna give you a karma for doing all that detective work... but i'm sorry -- I don't buy it. I just don't.
That's not your fault. I don't know if it's just misquoting by interviewers over the years, Ron not explaining himself over the years, faulty liner notes, or what...
I'll go to my grave stating Buckethead wrote the bulk of Shackler's Revenge, and the guitar solo is HIS WRITTEN material. Thus why he was credited as a WRITER. Thal is only credited for performing the track, as well as the additional rhythm.
I took the outro solo and way over amplified it to bring it up at normal audio levels, as well as removing the main guitar solo. Again... it's gotta be Bucket. It's his tone. His style. Not Ron's.
I will say this... if Ron's work on Shackler's Revenge was all done by HIM and HIM ALONE... then Ron's greatest achievement in his 30-year career beating the pavement was Shackler's fucking Revenge. Nothing else.
I just don't buy he wrote that amazing solo, or anything else in that song. He sucks too much in other places. Or Shackler's was his one hit wonder.
That song has Bucket, Brain & Caram all over it. It even sounds like songs Bucket & Brain were recording outside of Guns at the time.
I just don't buy it. Ron could never properly even duplicate it live, even if it was supposed to be HIS solo. Ron could never play most of Bucket's stuff live, even though he was hired to replace him.
I just don't buy it. It'd be like me trying to credit Gilby Clarke for Izzy's work on UYI as far a i'm concerned.
Like I said... you might be right... but if you are, it was the only time in Ron's career he was good, and it was all downhill after that.
The ending of Shackler's is probably the most Ron sounding thing on the album. I'm not a HUGE fan of either bucket or ron, but I've definitely listened to a lot of their shit and that is definitely ron. Anyway, I think arguing about how certain things just sound like someone is useless. Riad sounded like it had Bucket all over it and he doesn't even have a credit on the song.

You really think DJ would pass up a payday like this? Not just the payday, but all the exposure to his shitty brand? I don't think so. The guy sells a custom Dodge Challenger on his website for fucks sake.
It's smarter for him to leave and not be disgraced.
Think about the division of labor under the 3 guitar set up: Richard mostly plays rhythm and hardly gets any solos, bucket/bumble do the occasional shred solo or difficult passage but a lot of the time don't solo, then the bulk of the lead playing has always been Robin/DJ during the songs.
If DJ goes now he was the major lead player in GNR, replaced by the return of Slash who is part of the iconic AFD lineup. No shame in that at all.
What happens if he stays?
Option 1: Slash replaces DJ, and RJ does Ron's parts. Problem - DJ doesn't really shred/tap to that extreme - that's why they were Ron's parts.
Option 2: Dj stays in his role, Slash replaces Ron. Problem - Imagine the hate from the audience if Slash is on stage playing rhythm while Dj is playing his solos from the classic hits. Doesn't make ANY sense.
Option 3: Split the solos with Slash some new way sharing his role. Problem - Still get some hate (see option 2), plus now he's demonstrably doing less than before (looks like he failed), plus exposes him to direct comparison against slash - one of the people he clearly bases his playing and stage persona on. Picture how it would look - both of them in their top hats - trading solos and leaning back. It would make Dj look like a complete imitator. It's one thing to imitate slash in the absence of slash to allow the night to be a little more like classic GNR. It's another thing to replicate slash standing next to the real slash and being the reason he plays less.
If DJ leaves before this happens he saves so much face it's not funny. He did a stand up job performing the GNR hits. Nu-GNR wasn't taken seriously but you wouldn't put the blame on him for that. Replaced by slash he can move on as a career lead-guitarist and be a viable option for similar bands. Staying would destroy his career.
DJ could just ditch the top hat and play. It's not like it's stitched to his head. The hat is really the only similarity. Him standing next to Axl, Slash, and Duff every night would only improve his image/brand. The majority of people going to these shows are casuals, not diehard GN'R fans making lists about why he turned down playing in a Gn'R reunion.

Maybe a good sign that things are going smoothly in the band

Solid first episode I thought. A few inconsistancies as has been pointed out but I can live with them. I saw someone has found a scene from season 4 with Melisandre in the bath without her necklace and not looking all old and haggard.
I read a theory about how Stannis' wife is trying to avoid looking at her and is in horror the entire time, like something is not quite right during that scene. Perhaps some foreshadowing.
