Is it bad that the first thing I thought when I saw this thread was, "James is gonna be pissed!!!"? Haha

I don't expect COVID restrictions to go away anytime soon in solid blue areas. People self enforcing it without pressure from politicians. I hope I am wrong but I had a friend recently tell me he feels safer in a restaurant when they check vax cards at the door. Dude is 31 and should know better but hey. What's a little freedom. Hopefully they stop there!

In his opinion "you can do everything you could do in 2019 now." I truly wonder if people remember how 2019 was.

Happy New Years everyone. Let's hope this is a good one. Cheers

I ran into this issue maybe 2 weeks ago so you aren't crazy Randall. I assumed it was in error and sure enough when I tried again a few days later I was good. Hopefully it stays that way. Cheers

Wasn’t impressed by the movie. 1st half was essentially a soft reboot... iconic imagery and scenes from the original thrown in with a “new twist.”

Nostalgia driven. Better than new Star Wars but same angle.

Would be great to hear some UYI demo tracks with Adler on them. I think I remember Civil War was the only one that he sat on before being booted but... memory is hazy on that.

Thanks for the reply Randall. I agree these mandates/firings may not survive legal scrutiny at a later date. "Future justice" or not, many are being fired now. Not sure I will take that leap. Courts will take a long time to settle these things, if they ever choose to. Others in government can choose to ignore the courts anyway. Or so it seems in many cases. I'm not an expert. Anyway, I have time to think about it. Cheers.

Solid chance I will get fired. For not taking the vaccine in the next few months.

I am debating whether it's the hill I want to die on. TBH I don't have a problem taking it, but I do have a problem watching others being forced into it. Los Angeles passed vax passports to get into restaurants and indoor areas. Seems crazy. I guess many aren't bothered.

It's a KO on countercultural opinion. Basically saying, "you have to live in our narrative." It may be a true narrative. Still I enjoyed the ability to ignore popular consensus. I think we will be less and less able to do that on more and more topics. Hope I am wrong.
