I hazard a guess that should the HOF have also invited along his current lineup too he suddenly wouldn't of had nearly as much concern with who and how the decision was made.
IMHO AXL likely talked to the HOF a bit. I feel they could not come to an agreement on Pay, whom to induct, whom to let play on stage and long term rights to use the GNR/AXL name ect ect ect...
In other news Slash and Axl have a date!
Slash
Meeting an old friend for dinner tonight. IiiI; )'
Like · · ShareIt would be genuinely hilarious if Axl and Slash met up, settled their differences and decided to put on an AFD reunion show at a random location. Like, a small bar somewhere. Without announcing anything beforehand. That would be the ultimate "Fuck you" to the R&RHoF, and to all of the record industry suits who've been trying to force a reunion to get a giant pay cheque. And, possibly, the most rock n' roll thing ever done.
Not that it'll ever happen.
I think it could be Jimmy Page, i saw it suggested somewhere they were going to do something together.

But Axl said he wasn't going specifically because of how he was treated by the HOF, among other factors. He admitted he was going to go at one point...
He never said he wasn't going specifically because he was standing up against the HOF for what they represent, or whatever.
Show me where in this post I said Axl wasn't going because of standing up against the HOF or what they represent?
My post was referring to Axl comments like this:
I still don't exactly know or understand what the Hall is or how or why it makes money, where the money goes, who chooses the voters and why anyone or this board decides who, out of all the artists in the world that have contributed to this genre, officially "rock" enough to be in the Hall?
My post questions why he specifically addressed not understanding the mechanics of this award when he has never given a fuck enough about others to mention them and wanting to know how they operate. I suggested its because he didn't like who they were and weren't inducting.

I just wish we could get some stuff, something, anything!
The stupidity of the whole thing is really frustrating, other bands get remastered albums etc etc etc. We will not get anything from the back catalogue like the UYI tour DVD's, demos, remixes, remasters etc etc. All because of a petty fucken feud. I mean look at when Welcome to the Videos came out on DVD - nice effort - NOT!
But we don't even get CD era stuff either like a tour DVD etc. I know most of that shit is just a money spinner but I don't give a fuck. Throw us a bone or something.

I found this by accident when I was looking for some bird noises to play for my son who is fascinated with them at the moment.
I had no idea the Lyre Bird (which is Australian) was capable of this. Pretty amazing, make sure you watch it all the way through. It's had 9.5 Million views too.

I still remember when that Down Under song came out. Classic, always brings back 80's memories whenever I hear it. I remember it got played to death around the time we won the America's Cup in '83 as well.
I don't care if they reckon the riff is a rip off of this

The Lebeis' have probably installed some secret Internet filter to only let Axl see positive news when he goes online.

That Uzi Suicidal is a fucken dickhead. My understanding is its not GNR, it's just some psycho loser that always reports the vids and claims to own them.

So was Slash strung along until after the statute of limitations?
#730 Re: Guns N' Roses » RRHoF Discussion (Izzy/Slash/Axl Press Statements) » 734 weeks ago
So potentially the shit hit the fan after the statute of limitations expired?
SO IF Slash signed the renegotiated contract in 1992 where Axl fucked him over for the name too, did Slash leave around 1996?
