Yes because he sings a lot, I get it. Turn back to 2002 and you'll hear it after a no-singing period. It is quite known that he was in the process of fucking up his voice all togheter in 93.

I'm not saying he doesn't have a soar throat - I read the title. For people that don't know anything about vocals and rasp singing. Rasp singing is incredibly difficult to do without ruining your voice but to be able to sing like axl for as long as he has is rare and intentional on his part. to be honest axl does and has done so many things bad for his throat (i.e. smoking and drinking) that his singing technique may be flawless for all we know. but, yes, he has had surgeries to repair his instrument as well as the occasional sore throat, which comes with singing clean as well. My theory with the '02 axl is that he was trying to learn how to sing without rasp with the same range for the purpose of either maintaining his voice or for differing artistic direction. the problem with that might have been that once you sing with rasp sometimes you can't go back. so the rest of my theory goes that axl said "fuck it" just be yourself." I haven't seen the last show before the cancelled surprise gig, in which he supposedly sounded like his throat was bothering him so I'll take your word for it.  but the increased rasp in his voice as the tour has gone on is intentional and he hasn't sung with as much power as he did with duff on stage since the last time duff was on stage with him. wow.

iq has nothing to do with being good with the fans or doing drugs or even making smart decisions.

i'd pick izzy, brain, buckethead, duff, and axl in no particular order.

They are all more intelligent than average though.

The scratch in his voice is intentional. It's called rasp. He's been using it since the 80's.

the vikes season so far is a heart breaker.

heading in to training camp they were better than the team that wen 12-4 last year and, by all means, shouldv'e gone to the super bowl.

they had the 2nd ranked offense and a good defense.

now they have a phenomenol defense but their offense, which is mostly the same players, is now terrible. mainly their o-line. they can't make holes for peterson and they can't protect favre. the o-line is also close to leading the league in penalties.

they've been one play away, in every loss, from being 4-0.

instead they are 1-3 going in to the toughest part of their schedule.

yes that is true but.......

my point is that everyone is acting as if he's playing uncharacteristically and kolb should be back soon.

vick left the game playing the way he is now.

i don't know what you guys are talking about with vick.
he's playing the way he was playing when he left the game.
it's not as if he's an unproven player.

faldor - signing hank could be a bluff to get the chargers to lower their asking price and reports are that the vikings are still in serious negotiations with the chargers so it could simply mean the vikings aren't going to be content with signing jackons alone, considering that harvin is hurtand the rest of the wr's are terrible.

Vincent Jackson is about to be traded to the Minnesoat Vikings.

If they can get through the next 2 games without losing too much ground in the nfc north - they will again be the team to watch. If they can stay in the playoff hunt until pro bowl receiver Sidney Rice returns that offnese will blow the saints' offense out of the water.

Vincent Jackson will be available to start in their 5th game against the cowboys.

Rice's return is uncertain but projected to be around week 8.
