Oh Flagg...you're just so grounded and fair....
What would we do without your constant condescending tone and arrogance?
Again, it would be a nothing burger if it were a sole occurrence, but it most certainly is not. It's an endless string of events, including Junior's meeting ( "I love it!") with Russians to get dirt on Hillary.
Intent too, is everything.
"The emails show that, from the earliest months of Mr. Trump’s campaign, some of his associates viewed close ties with Moscow as a political advantage. Those ties are now under investigation by the Justice Department and multiple congressional committees."
"Mr. Trump, however signed a nonbinding “letter of intent” for the project in 2015. Mr. Cohen said he discussed the project with Mr. Trump three times."

I read the article. Also you're not welcome to speak on my behalf. I've told you this before.
Just another coincidence on a huge pile of coincidences it seems.
I also think it's funny how you quote Trump's response to this. As if he's not some pathological liar.

Lots of subjects:
1) IMO, it's not difficult to understand why confederate statues offend some Americans. It was a dark time for America, we existed as a proto-Nazi state, where we bought/sold humans, enslaved them and murdered them. We also tortured these people mentally, emotionally, spiritually, sexually and physically for our enjoyment. I'm sure there is a historical significance for some people. However I find it rather difficult to believe that the group that chanted "Jews will not replace us" and marched down the street with torches sincerely gave two shits about "historical significance."
2) I despise southern accents, even though mine still sneaks through every now and then. I still drop my gs. Goin', sayin', doin'....I try to be mindful and correct myself. Most of the peeps I heard speak with deep southern accents were assholes, religious freaks, rednecks etc..at least that's how I saw it. Accurate? Probably not, but that's my bias.
3) Trump is currently on the brink of war with the GOP. I'm starting to think he's setting himself up to get booted out of office on purpose. I can arrive at no other explanation for his behavior.
4) Christopher Steele who was responsible for the famous dossier, just had a sit down with the FBI and provided his sources.
5) Trump pardoned ex-Sheriff Joe Arpaio, then announced it on Twitter. SMDH.
6) With all this drama, it's often overlooked that Trump's government is woefully understaffed to say the least. The state department is one I'm very concerned about. That's a security issue IMO. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration doesn't have a permanent director, nor does the National Hurricane Center. Maybe Trump should get the fuck off Twitter for a while and actually get to work?
Edit: Annnnnd Gorka is out.

A wrecking ball can be a good thing. The status quo sometimes needs be taken to task and taken down. Trump was never that man though. He was good at the wrecking ball part, but not surprisingly that's all he's good at.
Right now he's got half a dozen Republican senators openly criticizing him and is also battling with McConnell. His expansion in Afghanistan may set off the Breitbart crowd too. Bannon and Trump both speak as if his departure was amicable, but we know Trump can turn on a dime. Sometimes in the same sentence.
It's starting to remind me of the end of Scarface, lol. He's at war with nearly everybody in his life, his enemies are coming in from all sides to take a shot, and while some still think he may get out of this mess at the last minute, deep down we know he's doomed.
Does Trump last until December?
I'd guess probably. However Mueller's team includes many lawyers who left million dollar salaries to work on this case, criminal law experts, organized crime experts, financial fraud experts, espionage experts, money laundering experts and a couple who both studied and are familiar with Russia.
Trump's war with lawmakers undermines who is left to stand beside him, but I don't think that'll be what does him in. I think Mueller will.

Trump basically said he's going to pardon Joe....
Seems like a really dumb move. Is there anybody he doesn't want to alienate?

Haha, hell that was long, but I got it off my chest all at once.
These are very serious issues, but I wouldn't feel hopeless about it. Perhaps it's my lifestyle, but I talk to all kinds of people all the time when I'm out and about, and the majority are very happy/friendly. I don't see this conflict.
The problem with our 24/7 news channels (which suck), and social media is that for some things they blow them up to be much larger than they really are. They also create division. We are a divided country especially online and according to cable "news" , but my experience in real life doesn't play out that way.
Our government is broken. I think that's a reality. But I also believe that ties in with social media and our 24/7 news culture. They are the primary driver for this mess.
Personally my main concerns are our dysfunctional government and/or war. After that I have the same concerns we've probably had for decades now: Healthcare, help for the poor, homelessness etc.
The internet has allowed fringe (name your subject) to move to the front row these days. More people than ever are exposed to what used to be considered radical 10-20 years ago. They're also able to calcify these new ideas inside their bubble, which feeds them confirmation bias all day long. Some really ugly things have been reborn because of this. But I still don't think it's that dire. I don't feel it's that much of a threat to our society. Most people want to work, provide for their family, and be healthy IMO.

You claimed white nationalists were more of a threat than Jihadis. They're objectively not. Anything else you say is a diversion from your ignorance of the facts.
No, I claimed that law enforcement officials across the country saw them as more of a threat than Islamic nuts.

This is one of your longest tantrums to date...all so that you could try to make the point that white people arent as dangerous as Islam.
You just need believe that white people are the righteous ones.
He's so predictable. Every time he demands evidence, when it's produced he writes up a 700 word tirade to try and take you off subject. That's his MO.
Various studies put up that say right wing domestic terror is more of a threat in America, and that Federal law enforcement are more concerned about right wing terrorists than Islamic. He dismisses everything, then demands answers to questions nobody is asking.
I guess I'll email everybody who put together those studies and tell them how stupid they are, since Flagg knows everything, even more than them. He also dismissed an "op-ed" which is based on these same studies.
