I see no hidden messages. I see a man who setup a twitter to clear the air about his involvement with the reunion as per:

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/ … n-20160304

and after doing that is just putting stuff out there for his fans. This talk of him airing dirty laundry and being unprofessional is overblown nonsense. He hasn't said anything bad about any of the guys in the band.

Guys, calm down. It's just Izzy covering a Steelers Wheel tune.

I have the Make Donald Drumpf Again extension installed. I am starting to type Drumpf instead of Trump.

"Islam Hates Us"-Drumpf

How can anyone think that voting a for a world leader who is willing to make a statement like that has the right temperament and is fit to be president of (probably) the world's biggest super power??!!!

Very spot on. Better put than anyone. And if anyone really really is backing Trump, before you do spare yourself 20 minutes and give it a watch - hell even if you disagree with everything anti-trump that is said it's still decent comedy so there are worse ways to spend your time.

For those who haven't seen it a 50 minutes movie has been made with Johnny Depp playing Donal Trump. It's pretty funny 16

Also could this thread be renamed 2016 Presidential Race or something?

#777 Re: The Garden » Donald Trump running for President » 556 weeks ago

UK Perspective: Trump as president, is hard enough to take seriously over here. It seems laughable. That said the same was said over here about Ronnie but he ultimately wasn't laughable (Depending on your politics he was one of the best presidents ever). So I'm not going to rule out a Trump presidency and write it off as a joke. BUT, Trump/Palin. Forget about it, that is a laughable mess, and if Trump is smart he doesn't touch it. Internationally it plays so badly.

I personally just want to see a world leader(s, would like to see this in all countries) who isn't a shill, and has a cool enough head to say  to the other world leaders "The Middle East is terminal, we need to sit round a table and work on a way to make the demise as comfortable as possible and then work together to pick up the pieces from the mess we have all collectively made over the past two centuries". That however is a pipedream and so all I really want in practice is leaders that keep us from nuclear armageddon sad

Who cares what Izzy decides. I don't consider the 92-93 time period to be GN'R except for those 93 shows when Izzy came back. But even then it wasn't the real deal because they didn't create any new music.

World Needs A Hero -2001

Guitar & Vocals: Dave Mustaine
Bass: David Ellefson
Lead Guitar: Al Pitrelli
Drums: Jimmy DeGrasso

Originally I was going to post nothing from this album. It's not their worst album (that's either Risk or Super Collider) but it's definitely the most bland. Nothing really interesting on this one but since every record has had at least one video, I'll be fair. Clearly seeing Metallica do Unforgiven II and thinking sequels to classic songs that don't need sequels is a good idea, Dave produced this. It's alright...

The System Has Failed - 2004

Guitar & Vocals: Dave Mustaine
-Session Only-
Lead Guiar: Chris Poland
Bass: Jimmie Lee Sloas
Drums: Vinnie Colaiuta

IIRC this was originally supposed to be Dave solo record but had to be released as Megadeth for contractual reasons. Regardless a return to form, best stuff since Youthanasia at this point.

United Abominations - 2007

Guitar & Vocals: Dave Mustaine
Lead Guitar: Glen Drover
Bass: James LoMenzo
Drums: Shawn Drover

Endgame - 2009

Guitar & Vocals: Dave Mustaine
Lead Guitar: Chris Broderick
Bass: James LoMenzo
Drums: Shawn Drover

Thirteen - 2011

Guitar & Vocals: Dave Mustaine
Bass: David Ellefson
Drums: Shawn Drover
Lead Guitar: Chris Broderick

Demos of New World Order and Black Swan had been released previously as bonus tracks.

Super Collider - 2014

Guitar & Vocals: Dave Mustaine
Bass: David Ellefson
Drums: Shawn Drover
Lead Guitar: Chris Broderick

One of Megadeth's worst records. Only got two things to post for this one and none are particularly impressive at all. It's a toss up between this album and World Needs A Hero for most boring shit Mustaine has ever put out.

Dystopia - 2016

Guitar & Vocals: Dave Mustaine
Bass: David Ellefson
Drums: Chris Adler
Lead Guitar: Kiko Loureiro

An improvement on Super Collider for sure, and a bit more interesting than Thirteen, which was a little bit like Megadeth on cruise control.

Mustaine tracks on Puppets?  I call horse shit on that one.  That's just too much Mustaine nutswinging for my liking. Kill Em All? Sure.  Lightning? Ok. Puppets? Step away from the crack pipe.  Before its over he'll be credited with riffs on the Black album.

Was referring to riffs on Puppets, which he has claimed in the past. Wouldn't surprise me if that's true. Neemo mentioned Leper Messiah and there is this little nugget from MoP wiki page:

Mustaine claimed he had co-written "Leper Messiah", based on an old song called "The Hills Ran Red". The band denied this, though admitting that a section incorporated ideas of Mustaine's

Considering James and Lars tendency to downplay Dave, and how they booted him, plus Dave's tendency to exaggerate I'd guess it's somewhere in the middle.

You are right on Shit, Binge and Purge. Great live album. The band do bring it, always liked Newsted's contributions. Dude got shafted in the studio but at least got some presence in the mix live and his backing vocals always were a great addition. And you're right to not care for them post Reload. Haven't done a thing worth a damn since Garage Days.
