This is fascinating. You pay a lot to the federal government and it does "nothing for" you, yet you want policies that will give the federal government more money and assume this time they are going to do something for you with it? Absolutely fascinating.
Yes....trumps agenda has not benefited me. Still fascinated?
Even more so. You seem to think that the entire gov't changed the day that Trump took office and all the things you loved the day before just stopped magically. Your hatred for one man has you so blind that you can't help but say stupid things. I get not liking Trump. I'm not a fan either. Hating him to the level that you lose all perspective though is unhealthy. You should seek help.
This whole thread you've posted things over and over that show you have no idea how the gov't works, but this one takes the cake. You have a lot of opinions for someone completely clueless.

Also my wife works from home and has for 16 years. All that we pay for her to do so is no longer deductible.
Not judging and obviously it doesn't matter now but what were you deducting? I used to be self employed years ago and deducted some stuff then, but I work from home now for a company and don't deduct anything.

I certainly don't live in the cheapest place to live and I have plenty of friends and family in Illinois with far more complaints about their state/local taxes and none with the federal cuts. Maybe you were in a unique situation.

The more deductions they get rid of, the better. If you've been playing the system and the system caught up to you, that's okay too. The whole tax code needs to be redone, but that won't happen any time soon.
I made out like a bandit with the tax cuts. I don't know what people consider middle class these days, but I'm certainly not rich.

You got a tax break dude. Just because you think it helped others more, it still helped you. And they've prevented the Dems from turning us into Greece quicker than we would be anyway. What you don't seem to understand STILL is that balance is necessary because either side will destroy the country if they get their way 100%. This swinging back and forth isn't ideal either, but there's a reason we're swinging back and forth...too much of either side is bad. The system is completely broken and neither side gives a flying fuck about you.

The saddest part about all of this is you think the Dems stand for something and aren't equally complicit in everything that is going wrong in the US government. You're so close...you have half of the equation figured out, but like so many you're blind to the rest of it. You want so badly to believe in something...

It’s funny that you’d even notice corruption anywhere....ever....
I didn't post anything about it because it's commonplace among all politicians regardless of party, but you just posted about how you hate corruption in the last couple days, so I wanted to make sure you weren't a hypocrite since it involved your party. It's amazing how many politicians get rich for doing nothing other than being politicians...

It's just a story, it's not real. Of course its easier to write material from a source and of course it got worse without a source...its not their characters. I choose to enjoy it for what it is instead of being disappointed in what it could be.
