I don't know the rules in Vermont, but they have a Republican governor.  If Sanders leaves his senate seat for a cabinet position, do they have an election or does the governor get to appoint a replacement?  Same thing with Warren in Massachusetts.

Trump needs a miracle win in MI, WI or NV to get past 270.  I think at this moment he has PA, but if he loses GA or NC, both very real possibilities at this moment, it's over.  Even if he gets both plus PA plus Maine's +1, that puts him at 268.  Not the landslide Democrats predicted, but a decisive victory none the less.  Don't be like certain people in 2016 and cry the sky is falling.  I was that asshole in 2008 and swore I'd never be that irrational again.

Total sham. Wow. Trump was right. Only way he loses is if the Dems cheat. And, they are.

Sorry dude, no one is cheating.  This kind of rhetoric needs to end.  It's not over yet, but no cheating has occurred.  The polls were way off and Trump appears to be within 1% in states the experts called +10 for Biden just 36 hours ago.  But no one is cheating and that kind of talk is dangerous.

I don't think this is gonna get better.  GOP controls the Senate and they can stop Sanders or Warren from getting Secretary posts.  They're going to challenge every rule change the EPA and DOL try to make, and it'll be held up in the courts.  DACA will be stayed almost immediately if Biden tries to EO it back into life, and SCOTUS isn't going to side with him - that is clearly the power of Congress.  It's just going to continue to be ugly.

I want decency to return, compromise.  But I just don't see that happening.  Hopefully Biden is the President he said he'd be and isn't foolish enough to expend all his political capital on pet projects that have no chance of passing the GOP senate to appease the AOC wing of the party.  The Tea Party is dead, it's time to kill the Occupy crowd too.

Trump needs to concede tonight.  PA doesn't look like it will save him since WI and MI appear solidly blue.

I fell asleep shortly after 2, but Biden has this right?  It looks like he'll get WI and MI, which ends it for Trump.  Who knows with PA, but I don't think it'll matter.  He may even take GA, which would be a bigger upset than AZ.  Not the blowout the polls predicted, and it looks like the GOP keeps the Senate.

The blowout, blue wave belief the dems had about this election (taking the WH and Senate) is dead, this is a life support move for the presidency. They know this is going to be tough to win now, they're going to take it to the courts, and they wisely had been preparing for that with a whole army of lawyers. This is going to get ugly.

I don’t know. Arizona really turned the tide. Detroit and Milwaukee aren’t counted yet. I don’t know how they got their projections so wrong early on. I think Biden’s going to pull it off.

Biden is making a victory speech after condemning Trump for even thinking of doing it

I'd be very surprised if GA goes Biden.

Me too, but the times is saying 60% now.

GA may be going Biden. Times did a complete flip
