If he hasn't done much lyrics and vocals since 99 they really should just make an extended CD version with Slash and Duff. At least that way we're getting something from them. Like a redux version. Scrap some of the stinkers, put in Absurd, HS, OMG, the General and what else exists that he finished.

Se dijo en el pasado que chinese el disco era su vida que habia invertido todo en el!....por que hiba a tirarlo por la borda?la discografica y agentes no han podido,si frenarlo y desilucionarlo pero no desechar la obra!....reunion con duff y slash aire nuevo y......casualidad absurd primer single?este juego del tiempo artistico lo maneja axl!....hard skool y ahora esta si es una cancion guns?....cuestion de tiempo para que los mismos que le dijeron eso no suena a guns,chinese no es un disco legitimo,produccion,sonido y los guitarras imitando a slash! A tomar por culo, esta batalla es de axl y la va ganando por k.o.....por cierto...misma obra....axlstyle!.....p.d....mucho productor y tecnico de sonido hay por aqui!

Not an unusual process, if the artist is dead...
Maybe he feels he doesn't have anything left in the tank. At least not that will be worth while compared to the stuff he made as a late 30s something. On the plus side it shows he still cares and isn't willing to release something subpar just for the sake of it.

Listening to this on a good system makes all the difference. I got a standard setup in my living room and it sounds good, but on my JBL speakers I use for the computer the sound is much better. Especially for Slash' guitar.

At least one good outcome from this whole farce is that everybody are now scared to death of innocent diseases or socially shamed to wash their hands in Stoli ten times a day. Life will become less infectious going forward.
Now that tyrannical measures are in vogue I suggest we punish people who are too careless to stay healthy. Get the doctor in and form an opinion. Out running in freezing weather because you're an idiot? You live at McDonald's? Here take this fine. That just seems a lot more appropriate than demanding people take shots made for profit from heartless corporations, approved by trustworthy politicians.

I was at that Dublin 2010 show. Well, a bit of it. That was the one where they were on late, the idiots running the venue let people take bottles into the floor area, and some idiots threw those bottles at the stage.
Axl stormed off in a huff, the crowd looked like it was getting a bit St. Louis, so I decided to bail.
And then Axl came back out on the stage and performed the entire show standing in one spot, he was that pissed off. And gave one of his best vocal performances as a result.
Oops.
Sounds like you missed a top show 
Come to think about it, has he ever done a show standing still before (except 2016)? That might have been a unique experience.
