Granted mp3 sucks ass, but do you guys think vinyl is better than CD? I used to love my vinyls but stopped collecting them a while back when they became very hard to source.

I'm going to order CD I think though to go with my compact disc.

hahahahaha! Yeah...guilty as charged!!!  I am a bit nuts! I like the words to sorry - I just feel the backing music isn't quite on par with it and the chorus is very repedative. Having said that....it's growing on me...and when i say I dislike it - i mean its my least favourite song on the album - but I do kinda like the whole album - so it really just means I like stuff like Catcher more!

I don't know why people don't like scraped...one of the things I love about GNR is Axl's voice...the way he sings...the power, the tone, and I could listen to that kind of shit all day. I love it when he hits those high notes and it feels like he is channeling pure pashion!

The thing that is suprising about it though isn't the hate for the ex-members.

Although this article also bashes Izzy who is thanked in the notes. But lets move on from that as we know that the GNR circle isn't too fond of ex-members.

It's the bashing of two of the bands 5 albums that makes no sence.

Is this why axl doesn't play much from UYI anymore? Has he grown to hate the material?

Myself I agree that Chinese Democracy is a kickass album, the shock to me comes that the offical site would compare it unfavourabley to AFD and then go on to bash two more of it's albums.

If you look at GNR as a brand. You don't see Sony post on their site saying "our new product is not quite as cool as when we invented surround sound, but it's still pretty bitching, and kicks the crap out of out god-awful minidisc product from 10 years ago - that was a terrible product we made ". That would be insanity - and that's what GNR just did - but even worse - as Use Your Illusion is still sold in record stores worldwide! And the website of the band that made it just called it bloated and ruined.

Appart from the nonesence about the old members ruining songs....lets call that hate and move into the concept that simply from a PR perspective...GNR is a brand name with 5 albums of original songs...

Now the band is calling 2 of those albums 'bloated' and then while saying the new album is good coments that it is still inferior to the first album?
