Yeah I tend to agree with most of the others.  A brief performance with the original lineup will not halt the current versions progress.  Besides, you can't stop something from progressing if it is not moving in the first place?

I agree the current lineup is very tight and by most accounts putting on some kick ass shows.  But they certainly don't appear to be progressing anywhere with new material.  CD came out a few years ago now and whilst the new guys have been saying in interviews how keen they are to get together and record new material, this doesn't appear to be happening.

So all those other arguments in there about promotors wanting a classic lineup reunion etc etc if they play - so what, that occurs now.  Axl has spoken directly about this and how Azoff was trying to force a reunion etc etc. So how is it going to be any different. 

But of course if Axl plays a couple of songs with the original writers of those songs everything will become monumentally difficult.  The label will be a pain in the ass, they'll cut his funding off, they will force him to release artwork that isn't done, he will have litigation from everywhere, motor cycles and mobile phones will go missing, email and twitter accounts will be hacked...... oh wait isn't that apparently already occuring??  So what is going to change if he performs - nothing!

Is that the No Brasil boxset you are talking about, it came with a poster too?
