Word has it there were 50k+ people at the Trump rally 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh yesterday. I’d be worried if I were Biden with his 200 people events.

In things that are actually measured, Biden is ahead. He's been raising more money. He's ahead in the polls. Hell, he got better ratings in the head-to-head televised events.
The polls call on more Dems than Pubs, that is because they expect more to vote. They don’t get an accurate sampling of voters.
This is wrong. Depending on the pollster, more Dems or GOP make up the results. In places like Alaska, I think Independents make up the majority or close to it. It’s across the board.
Pollsters have for the most part corrected what they viewed as their 2016 mistakes. And I know you won’t believe this, but some argue they might actually be underestimating Biden’s support because they corrected the other direction.
Exactly. They’re trying to model their sample as close to the projected electorate as they can, to make their polls reasonable. No one wants to be the poll calling Wisconsin by +17 when everyone else has it 3-5+.
Maybe there is a plethora of hidden Trump voters remaining mum, but Trump won the blue wall by less than 100k in most states. If they’ve corrected their sampling from 16, the odds the polls are wrong enough for a Trump landslide is slim.

Guys, I know this has become the "politics" thread, but it's called "current events."
Sean Connery died. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-54761824
Very sad. I loved him in Darby O’Gill

This will be Mitch come Tuesday.
Photos of Biden in a klan hood saying the n word with 5 naked children could leak, and he’d still vote for him. It’s not a rational or informed decision as evidenced by the past 4 years of posts.

All you tucker fans should be ashamed and embarrassed...but i know you’re not
Mongo, keep up with the news. You’re posting outdated articles that haven’t been updated. UPS confirmed the story. How embarrassing. Keep showing us your massive intellect with your google skills.
The story was linked in the forum 24 hours before your post, but as mama Gump said; stupid is as stupid does.

2 things to consider.
1.)They say 25% of attendees at Trump’s rallies say they didn’t vote in 2016.
2.)Conservatives like me who thought Trump was full of shit AND a danger to western democracy, so we held our nose and voted Clinton in 2016. I now know he’s ended Bush’s and Obama’s conflicts, got NK to stop shooting missiles, didn’t let Putin grab more land, neutered Iran, and got 3 Arab countries to recognize Israel, all without world war 3. We’ll be voting Trump this time.

Here it is. Now let’s see those who were sure Russiagate was true pull a 180 in unison.

Glenn Greenwald just quit The Intercept, which helped found, because of censorship. I think things are going to get really interesting. More liberals are now breaking away, and progressives are getting pretty far out there and cocky.
I mean, Trump is really the Roy Moore candidate. People voted against him because they hated him, not because they suddenly became liberal or liked Doug Jones. Like always, progressives took this as Alabama turning blue and forced him into a lot of liberal bills and stances. There's going to be Democratic civil war if Biden wins. The only thing keeping them together is Trump.
I absolutely agree. I honestly thought it would happen in 18 with the hard push to the left of mid-term democrats. The Democratic congressman of Pittsburgh ran ads with him holding an AR-15 to win his spot from the Republican. And now he’s up against an Army Ranger Captain who runs ads saying the Democrat voted with Pelosi 90% of the time. You can’t have a guy holding an AR-15 run in the Democratic Party of 2020.
It used to be the intelligent smirked at the ignorance and pomposity of the hard right. But now you can’t survive in the public sphere without paying homage to the absurd beliefs and narratives of the AOC left.
If Democrats are dumb enough to try to pack the court and remove the filibuster to push in Green New Deal type nonsense, the union/blue caller Clinton democrats are going to go running to the GOP in 2022. I don’t know how they manage the far left that is only emboldened by a woke media that is calling the riots in Philadelphia protests, and not the anarchy of the deplorable. If you think the Biden story is going away, you’re kidding yourself. The media needs outrage and what the fuck are they going to focus on when Trump is gone. I wouldn’t be surprised if Biden isn’t sacrificed to get Harris on top 6 months from now.
