In this interview Bach mentions both of them separately, so they're probably different. Then again it is Sebastion Bach .
Nice find!!! Baz knows what he sang on...so I think that settles that issue.

and for those of us who didn't its hard to be a fan of both guys cuz someone somewhere slags off on one of the 2....and usually that fan fires back a retort in defense of either Axl or Slash which in turn makes that person a troll
Hahha....so true. My problem is I totally love all of them. But i can see every side of it all. So i can see faults in Axl, Slash and Bucket's antics from time to time... but also so many reasons why they are awesome musicians!

MSL seemed to be saying some people thought it was Sorry because it leaked before anyone knew of Shackler's Revenge...so they just guessed the title based on the descriptions of titles we havn't heard before...

What does commercial success prove about anything unless you're a Chris Brown or Fergie fan? And if it does prove anything, it proves Liberetard was a steaming pile of horse shit that no one wanted.
I don't hate Slash, that's comical. I'm a GNR fan for chrissakes. I just don't like that he doesn't feel the need to challenge himself anymore. He carries the same ol schtick like Linus carries his security blanket. The fact that your buddy can pick out his playing in seconds just proves it. It says nothing of ability, but it says a lot about predictability. And being predictable is great if you want the same ol, same ol. I don't.
And you hoping for this GNR to fail is predictable too.
Personally I find Bucket the same way though.
Sure a lot of people don't like Libertad...but a lot of people find the songs on that album more listenable than a lot of songs on bucket's albums. But why does it have to be this war?
If you want to talk about predictability....its hard to divorse that from style and signature. Its as true of bucket as it is slash. He does the same thing over and over on these leaks. A sudden quick shred burst like IRS, the 10 finger tap runs like in Better and Rhiad. The intro to Shacklet is cool as...but sounds like it could belong on the bucket albums I have....
What I come back to is that both Slash and Bucket are guitar gods...and it's insane for fans of GNR or rock music to be bashing either of them.

I see this whole thing as minda a mess.
Axl is obviously very sensitive...which makes sence given the sensitive nature of his lyrics and that he is clearly an artist.
There is an irony to things. I think Axl felt the need to get control of his affairs and take control of the old band due to the drug abuse and other issues, he knew he needed to be in charge to get things to be a way he could deal with. But now its comming back to bite him a little...as what GNR needs is an objective media and business types involved...who aren't personally and emotionally invested in their relationship with the fan base etc....and it doesn't seem like that's what we have.
I hope it all resolves. As at the end of the day Axl is a great artist and its a shame to let all the politics distract from that - for us and for him.

I really dig the song, and am so glad to hear "live" drums on the track. Too many of the CD songs are a little too heavy on the canned drums for my taste...
Got to agree...the drums kick major ass in this song. It just sounds so much more rock with a real drummer. And I love the melodies from Axl! Although i'm a guitarist and I know the solos are technically impressive.....its all a bit messy for my taste...BBF and Bucket always seem to do this kinda "every key at once" type playing which sounds cool in small doses...although i think i prefer more structured guitar playing. But Don't get me wrong - i love the song!

The post GNR resume of the "rest of the boys" is extremely dull. The songs all basically sound the same. Slash wouldn't step out of his comfort zone if he had a gun aimed at his head. You can enjoy the safe bland rock, but its not "miles and miles" above anything. In fact, its just the same old shit.
We could say that about everything though.
I mean OMG, Shackler's and Ryhad..all sound like the same thing to me. I like all three of them - but they are very similar in style to each other - just the way say "Dime Store Rock" and "Soma City Ward" from snakepit are similar in style...
And TWAT and Song #2 are basicly the same kind of ballad as Breakdown and Noverber Rain....
In music EVERYTHING is the same old shit.....
End of the day - CD seems like its going to be a cool album, and Slash is also an amazing musician...why do people have to like one or the other? I don't get it
