I love Phil's voice. LA Guns is one (two) of those bands that are fun to read about. Imagine if we had two GNRs all these years?

No kidding! It's ok for Slash to be "setting high standards" and "moving forward" without being not-Axl. What a piece of crap.

Everytime I think there's nothing to be excited about someybing crazy like this happens. In the end, still no new music but damn, Robin and Brain- I'd love both of them back, but not sure I'd want to lose anyone either.

China Town was great live. I think they'll maybe roll out some more new songs here and there, but they're so damn tight that I can understand sticking with a more static playlist. It's gotta be pretty hard to put on that tight of a set.

The other thing is it seems more likely that they'll rotate in more surprises from the bqck catalog. There's just too much history there for a 20ish song set is the real problem. It's a good problem to have though, that's for sure.

I LOVE Pentagram. Cool links man, thanks.

Saw the boys last night in Boston. I was 11 rows from the stage on the left (damn, got Wolfie instead of Eddie smile). KILLER show- they sounded awesome. Dave is still a complete nut- he really worked our side of the stage. Strangely, not so much the other side. On the other hand, Eddie never made it closer to us than Wolfie's mic- I think he gets nervous too far away from his pedals.
It gave me chills to see these guys so up close. The last time I saw DLR was on the Skyscraper tour in junior high. Never saw VH before. Eddie looked and sounded great- his chops were phenomenal. The camaraderie between the guys was awesome. Eddie and his infectious smile, DLR grooving out to the instruments, father and son sharing the mic. And they were TIGHT. Wolfie definitely holds his own, too. I wonder how old he was when Eddie taught him how to lock down the big finishes that VH songs thrive on.

The black guy? Named "T-Bone"? With the least screen time and character development? In a horror survival show? I don't know how he made it this long!

The show has been KILLER the past few weeks. Looks to me like their time on the farm is just about over. Wonder if they'll find a prison next...

I hear ya dude, and agree. I honestly didn't even realize how lazy my question came off. No worries.

I had no idea all this shit went down so long ago, and the reason I didn't look it up first was because I wasn't expecting it to be so well-documented. But it's everywhere, so I'm totally out of touch.

Thanks Rex.
