That main event was bullshit. That was a terrible payoff to this feud because we're right where we were beforehand. Glad to see Bryan retain, and him 1 Vs 1 with Santino at the end of that Chamber match was actually really good. Makes me think Santino could possibly work, if he was made a tiny bit more serious (but still kept as a comedic character), as a main event talent for a brief few months with a title reign. Him and Bryan could be a good feud IF done right.
That main event was just so borrrrriiiiinnggggggg though. Especially considering we got the first signs of Cena possibly turning into something somewhat resembling a heel this past Monday, for him to just go out be regular Cena and at the end be all happy-clappy smiles and no-sell a beatdown all match by Kane. Bullshit.

My mom has a pain pump.
It took three surgeries to get one that wasn't defective, and actually worked.
'nuff said
There's a slight difference between a pain pump and a chip. Lot easier to implant and probably more reliable.
#883 Re: The Sunset Strip » "Degrassi" actor Neil Hope has died... five years ago » 762 weeks ago
That is what's so fucked up about it. Like you said for anybody to die and nobody know about it for five years si weird let alone a former tv star and he was one of the biggest stars on the show. He was in the Zit Remedy with Snake and Joey Jeramiah(the most popular character in the history of any Degrassi)
I'd post a youtube video fo the Zit Remedy's music video for Everybody Wants Something but I'm on a stupid mac and I have no idea how to copy and past.
The old Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High were honestly ground breaking television for teens and young adults. It dealt with real stuff you just didn't see on any other shows geared towards that demographic including American shows. It's cheesy as hell to watch it now but the issues they dealt with were/are real and it was something REAL that kids could relate to.
To copy paste on a mac AppleKey+C to copy. AppleKey+P to paste.
Also this story is just weird. Like something out of the Twilight Zone.

No one thinks of GNR and thinks Matt Sorum. No one. Not even many of us here.
Speak for yourself. I don't think of GNR and think of the drummer. I think of Axl, Slash then Duff. If I do think of the GNR drummer, I quite often picture Sorum over Adler, because Sorum was with the band when they were at their biggest and got the most exposure as the GNR drummer than anyone who came before or after him. Sorum should be inducted, plain and simple.

What? What song leaks? Blood in the water is a song? So confused, I heard none of this
Seconding the confusion. There was also a thread an hour ago telling people to check their PMs. Has something interesting happened GN'R wise?

Right going to go back through the past few weeks and bring the scores up to date.
#887 Re: The Sunset Strip » The Video Game Console Thread » 763 weeks ago
Not sure about the new Slim PS3s but on the original one it was possible to install any hard drive into it.
#888 Re: The Sunset Strip » The Video Game Console Thread » 764 weeks ago
The harddrives on the consoles are for storying game saves usually. However the important factor in their size is playing games downloaded from the online store, installing games (often a requirement on PS3) and for downloadable content for your games e.g. extra levels, maps, characters, campaigns etc.

The Kane thing has ran out of steam, and I can't really see where it's going. It was good at first when they hinted Cena might turn but since then it's been
Kane: Cena, turn heeeeeelllll, embrace the hate.
Cena: I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN ME I LIVE AND DIE BY THESE COLOURS AND ALL I GOT TO SAY IS RISE ABOVE HATE. KANE YOU CAN'T SEE ME!
Then Kane attacks Ryder, Cena goes for save.
Rinse, repeat for a few weeks. A potentially interesting angle has just become the same old shit.
I would have been more excited if someone like say Ziggler, Rhodes, Barrett had one because at least it would be something different. Sheamus they hot-shotted the title to him, he's a 2-time WWE Champion and a former King of the Ring. But he's not done something interesting in a year, so I don't really care that he's won the Rumble.
Ziggler: started off the year challenging for the WHC, and has since been climbing the ladder again on RAW, improving in-ring and on the mic.
Rhodes: Has been THE heel of Smackdown's midcard all year, has shown evolution in his character, and looks primed to break the glass ceiling. An easy star-making moment for him would be him challenging Orton for the WHC at Mania and not only winning the big one, but also finally beating Orton someone he hasn't managed to defeat despite numerous confrontations with him throughout his career. It writes itself.
Barrett: Hell for the most part he's always been doing something. He fizzled out a bit in the first half of the year but has since had a renewed push and although he hasn't been given a great deal to work with it's still more than Sheamus has done.
Jericho was still the obvious choice so that he could challenge Punk at Mania. Now Jericho is still going to challenge Punk for the title at Mania (if this doesn't happen their stupid), but now they have no options on Smackdown as Sheamus is going to challenge for the WHC. Meaning WTF are the other guys going to do.

My problem is, that it should be the Royal Rumble Winner's match that goes on last at Mania. What's also a shame is the past four winners have failed to win. 08: Cena, 09:Orton, 10:Edge, 11:Del Rio. With the exception of Del Rio this was just giving their already established talent the title of Former Royal Rumble Winner. Del Rio's win would have been good if they hadn't given up on his push and had him win at Mania. Especially with Edge retiring a week later (although they didn't know that at the time), it would have been perfect for Del Rio to win at Mania.
Last time I remember someone winning the world title at Mania was Mysterio at 22. That's awful, some of the best Mania moments are those "boyhood dream has come true" type title wins where someone finally wins it.
