I'm with bigbri ... song is about as bad as it gets and the live performances I've seen of it are really bad imo
It's cool that most of u guys are digging it tho
Keep listening to it. It's a grower. Hated it at first too.

While obviously he had his very best performances in the 80s and to some degree early 90s, there is still something to be said for his early 00s voice. He had undergone surgery and lost a lot of his signature rasp, at least he didn't use it nearly as much, but on the other hand he seems to have mastered his voice better than in his youth making him able to belt out some very impressive screams.
I'm not sure prime Axl Rose can pull this off:

Some pretty cool lyrics thru-out as well...I never understood why Axl says "alright, that sucked" at the end
I don't know, but an idea came to me. He thought the take sucked, but the song is so difficult to sing it ended up being the best take so they used it.

The power in his voice is incredible.

Brody owned ROV right? Definitely late 2006 for ROV, and 2007 for the current forum. I used to talk to him in PMs quite a bit back in the day. Hope he's doing alright.
I think I remember now. Evo launched 13th October 2007 because all the user registration dates were reset on launch or something. That's the date in my profile.
Brody damn, I had forgotten about him! He didn't post much though.
ROV was Unleashed peeps who wanted to start a forum in response to Jarmo selling out?

What do you mean by "semi supportive of Trump"? I've made it clear for years that I was largely aligned with Trump's overall foreign policy and domestic policy, but can't stand the man. There are many things he did I didn't like or agree with, but nothing as colossal a fuck up as what Biden has unleashed.
Depending on the topic and how it's framed from a pollster, the overwhelming majority of Americans aligned with Trump's international and domestic agenda. But far too many people inject accusations of racism and bigotry into any topic, so it quickly gets muddled. The overwhelming majority of Americans support state issued IDs to vote, but if you pay attention to the media and liberal provocateurs, such an idea is as bad if not worse than slavery.
Not hating him I guess. Where I come from you'd be hard pressed to find any normal people daring to voice even tacit support for him.
Me I don't like him personally either (my avatar hints at why), but compared to some other Presidents he was a breath of fresh air and seemingly competent on some important matters. From what I remember you guys were not exactly supportive of him before the election, however the tone in this thread suggests many of you have mellowed to him, or at least prefer him to what is going on now.
I think that's good to see.

polluxlm wrote:Question, who has been supplying the Taliban with weapons all these years?
You know the answer. The US has been supplying Afghanistan with weapons since the 1980s. As have the Russians/Soviets and Pakistan. Anyone paying attention knows Afghanistan is just football kicked around by the world powers who inevitably give rise to their new enemy.
I was more wondering if there is an official scapegoat or if they just don't talk about it. I don't follow regular news much outside of headlines.
On the other hand I just discovered that heroin is no longer taboo for the Taliban. They make too much money on it. Well that answers the question whether this will impact the lucrative drug trade. Guess there was no reason at all for the US to stick around any longer.

I still can't get over the fact they chose Silk Worms as the first single. It's not a safe choice I'll give them that.
There is a benefit to this thing with Slash and Duff reinterpretating CD vault tracks. You get that classic, recognizable GN'R sound and the flavor of the eclectic ensemble that worked on CD over the years. It sounds like old Guns N Roses but it also sounds new. They might actually deliever a pretty good album from the fans perspective. Will be lots of butthurt from CD fans though, including myself.
