You've got to be kidding?  This is moving forward?  A trailer with a bunch of AFD/UYI songs proclaiming them as in the RnRHoF when NONE of the people in the video showed up?

Man, if this is progress they are never going anywhere.  The only hope is that people will say they play the old stuff fairly well and go to a show.  That's it.  This isn't selling the new band at all.

Obviously I wasn't at the show, but the limited vocals they played were pretty spot on (though he sounded a little like Myles on some of the high notes).  I suspect they were touched up like Live Era...it would be interesting to see the whole show.

Not disagreeing...

They could have saved the RRHOF comment and thrown in some CD-songs!

Very Interesting.

Could be:

1. The gears starting to turn on Chinese 2.

2. Axl announcing he's retiring after vegas. (hey they did sell all their gear)

3. That his vegas contract required him to pimp it out a little.

4. Axl just wanted to do an interview to be cool to us.

I'll go with 3.

The news on their official site is all about the Vegas-thing:

And....

@RollingStone: Axl Rose has agreed to a rare TV interview on #JimmyKimmelLive to promote upcoming Las Vegas shows: http://t.co/6K9BUJXS

@livebeats: Dear Guns N' Roses fans: we know, you are waiting. We know, you've been patient. The waiting will soon have an end...

Ok! Then I misunderstood.

Why would you want people to google that stuff?

Yes, and Rams seems flattered:

"I have always regarded Apple products — and the kind words Jony Ive (Apple designer) has said about me and my work — as a compliment. Without doubt there are few companies in the world that genuinely understand and practise the power of good design in their products and their businesses."

Another thing is the "damned if you do, damned if you don't" aspect of it as far as fans are concerned:

A video comes out without Robin, Bucket and Brain? "OOOOH AXL! YOU DIRTY FUCKER! TRYING TO PASS OFF THE NEW GUYS AS THE ONES WHO RECORDED BETTER!!!!" (fists shaking to the high heavens)

A video comes with WITH Robin, Bucket and Brain? "What the fuck is this?? Those guys weren't even in the band when the damn album was released?!?!?!" (fists shaking to the high heavens)

Yeah, this whole gnr-saga post 1993 has been so fueled with changes, things that could've been etc etc. At this point it's possible to argue that they should do this and that differently no matter what they decide to do.

The easiest way to try and keep up with this band, is to try to let go of all the baggage of the past and just roll with whatever comes our way.

If you gonna analyze every move they make or have made, you'll end up like one these fans that gets upset all the time. To me, it's just not worth it.

When I saw this video and saw that stuff with BH, Robin and Brain, I thought for 2 sec: "Hm, how did they plan to...? Why is...?"
Then I went: "Aww, fuck it! Cool video to a great song! Done!"

^Thanks.

After seeing the damn thing, my only question is, 'What's all the fuss about?'

Glad to see Bucket represented there so prominently. Other than that, a rather lukewarm effort from a band with GNR's stature.

Some liked it. Some thought it was awesome. Some didn't like. Some was gonna hate it no matter what. So somewhere in the middle is a lukewarm effort, like you said. Prolly meant as a quick and easy way to put a face on the "new" band and promote the album.

But we all flock to it because we're not supposed to see it! Same as with every other leak through the years. I guess that's the reason for the fuzz!
