Sounds pretty Canadian, actually.  Of course, us Newfies usually just head to a buddy's house to get on the drink.  This year it's just me, my new fiancee and her sister.  I'm baking tarts right now and I've got the turkey thawing for tomorrow.  Going to have a traditional dinner here as we weren't able to make it home this year.
