I love the shattered sound of the guitar! Damn, not only are you talented but you've got some respectable juice to have those people playing with you! Hugely impressed (and metallex is right, you're channeling some Robin in there, but the bearded one, not the alien shaved head one )
Are there more releases or an album in sight? I just bought your tune from amazon - full support!

I'm dead set on seeing the current lineup on the main page, so I'll gladly throw my lot in on Sorry.

I'm a HUGE Pixies fan, but with Kim announcing her departure last week, I wasn't expecting this at all. On first listen, I like it a lot. The drums in particular.
I can definitely hear Kim on this, so I wonder what their plan is with her gone. There can be no substitute for Kim, so it's her or it's a three piece. Not that they've done much new stuff since getting back together...
Anyways, hope you enjoy!

Well, this is a surprise. Early this morning, Pixies released their first new track in nine years, a song called "Bagboy". Stream and download (in exchange for an email address) below. They've also released a video to accompany the track, directed by Lamar + Nik. Watch that below as well.
It was announced earlier this month that Kim Deal had left the band, though it sure sounds like she's on this track. (That hasn't been confirmed yet.) The track was recorded last October and produced by Gil Norton.
Talking about "Bagboy", Black Francis said:
The lyrics, coincidentally, were composed at a Starbucks Coffee in Harvard Square in Cambridge, about a hundred feet from where, 25 years ago, I composed some of the lyrics to an old Pixies song called ‘Break My Body.’ Twenty-five years later, some Starbucks in Harvard Square…I thought that was kind of interesting. The music for the song has been around for a few years. There are some demos I made with Joey and David a few years ago in Los Angeles, related to a film idea that still has yet to see the light of day, although work on the music continued. So a lot of the musical idea had been kicking around for awhile. It’s pretty simple, kind of a blues-based, two-note kind of thing, really.
The last new music Pixies released was original track "Bam Thwok" and a cover of Warren Zevon's "Ain't That Pretty at All", both in 2004. Pixies reunited that same year after a decade-plus-long breakup, and have been touring intermittently ever since.
