Wouldn't be the first time. Fleetwood Mac did it with The Chain and Keep Me There.

The other two clips from that soundcheck didn't sound like either The General or Oklahoma.

Probably wishful thinking, but I think they'd fit more to Oklahoma than to what we can hear on the cell phone recording of The General.

Just release all the songs that can get the Slash and Duff treatment - not piecemeal every two years, but all at once, or at least a song per month. Then put the rest of the material, regardless if it's completed or not (he's not going to finish it anyway) in a digital package and/or a limited edition box set for the fans of that era to enjoy.

And then move on. If he feels like creating new music, great. If he doesn't, he can do something else, be a music producer or a music producer like Slash; or just continue performing, or just sit at home and enjoy his life. But just move on.

Those are anomalies in the discography. Lyrically they show so much promise.

People often say that the reason Axl hasn't and won't ever write anything new is because there's nothing for him to write about, since his current life can't be a source of inspiration.

These two examples prove that there's always something to write about as long as someone is in creative mode.

Well, it looks like this is just The Garden according to Voodoochild at mygnr.
It reminded it me of The Garden, too, when I heard it, but then the vocal didn't sound much like it so I thought probably not. Alice Cooper was backstage at that show, so it makes sense that they were rehearsing it (maybe just in case).
If it's The Garden that's great news. More deep cuts the better i say.

Yes. If it was The Garden, too bad they didn't play it eventually at that show with a guest appearance from Alice Cooper.

Yes the mix of perhaps was a pair of years before Caram arrived..

We're talking about these new mixes of Perhaps, Hard Skool and Absurd here, apparently, not the ones in the locker leaks.

Absurd and Hard Skool were both produced and mixed by Caram, while Perhaps was mixed by Joe Barresi.

Interesting that the mix for Perhaps was done by someone else and not Caram (with improved results) and that it was mastered by Bob Ludwig.

Back in the day (1994) Slash said that they had recorded a Hanoi Rocks song - only instrumentally - without being more specific:

Slash: We did a Hanoi Rocks tune but we decided not to put in on the album because we didn't wanna give Andy McCoy (former Hanoi guitarist) the money! McCoy's an asshole! The basic track was done but we never did any vocals on it. We also recorded a basic track on Iggy's 'Down On The Street', but we didn't finish that either. The information that the Hanoi Rocks song was Beer and A Cigarette came from Michael Monroe (source: htgth):
