Why is everyone so negative? I see this as a chance to find some fresh blood what would really suit the band.

The part of the superman theme u don't hear as often - i think its when they show crypton.

Rock people always look odd in suburban settings. But he looks about normal for 38 I think. He used to bang britney didn't he?

Wonder if Slash has played with Vai before? unusual pairing that.

I agree. But just to play devil's advocate...I did notice in slash's book that he was pissed at axl for cancelling shows and going on late etc without cause. If axl was able to make slash understand his need for waits then it might work perhaps. (As i understand it for Axl its cos the songs are emotional and so is he , and he has to be in the right frame of mind to give his best and not just be a machine pumping out words.). Also remember slash left after years of that abuse, and at tiems when the axl antics were a lot worse than they are these days. So if he didn't like it from Axl, no way he is going to want it from scott. I'm not saying there will be a reunion. I'm just saying I can see a possible future where a few gigs are played one day faroff. Its clear in the book that slash's only problems with axl are really about the cancelling of gigs, and other things he thinks are disrespectful.

i have to say, that for me, maybe that won't even be the case anymore....i could easily right now walk past a cd shop...and if it was in the window...not stress about it....maybe go past tomorrow and get it....
whereas two years ago i would have made sure the first copy in the country went to me....i would have begged, borrowed, even stole....just to make sure i had it....
right now....my attitude is a bit blaze towards the whole thing....
Interesting. I got to admit I would definately buy it immediately if i saw it in a store! And i'd be pumped for it. That's not cos I think its the 2nd comming or anything or going to change my life, but I'd be excited about a new album from Axl or Slash or any one of about 5 artists that have really inspired me over the years.
Be great if this is the year. But like DTJ said...it'd be much easier to belive if it came from the label!

yeah its not going to happen IMHO...like izzy doesn't really play much lead guitar usually does he? And while he's patched up his relationship with GNR, i really cant see him wanting to be a perminant fixture in the current band.

Normally i'd have no faith in something like kerang. But then the signs are there - the Dr Pepper thing, the new managment, beta saying the album is done, it being more than a year since the tentative date. But then the signs have been there before and nothing has happened. And this doesn't gell well with the robin thing...but it would be cool if it did come out....to be honesy i've waited this long...i cant actually imagine having it now...will be wierd....cool...but strange!
