I voted for Perot. I wouldn't have voted otherwise. My disgust for the 2 political party system has been around for quite a while. Perot would have been way better than Trump...

I think infants should be given a gun within 72 hours.
You keep talking to a guy that doesn't and never has owned a gun like he's a gun nut. I'm not. I'm a constitution nut. I believe in it. All of it. Even the things I wish weren't in it because that's what we as a society have decided is how we want to live. If you think society has changed enough, change the constitution. If society hasn't changed that much, then tough shit.
You only have this right in your constitution because the constitution was deemed flawed enough at the time for it to be amended. I don't see any reason why the second amendment isn't reviewed and possibly revised based on the problems the US is having with gun related deaths. I can't understand how someone can see kids being shot to pieces multiple times (Sandy Hook really should have bene the last straw) and not think this actually needs to be looked at. Why the constitution is considered sacred always confused me - you guys have amended it 20+ times!
It's been amended quite a bit, yet here we are over 200 years later and guns are still legal. If society wanted that to change, the constitution would be amended again. Society doesn't want that to change. The biggest reason for that is these shootings that a few people keep pointing to as reasons to ban guns are really just adding to the demand for gun ownership. Guns are here to stay. Just accept that. If you want things to change, focus on something that has a realistic chance of changing.
Make a case for something that people can't argue with. Banning "assault rifles" when you can't define an assault rifle is a losing proposition. Educate yourself. Learn what is what instead of throwing out talking points. Make a factually accurate argument that could potentially have a positive impact. The crap that's going on now is just ignorant people spewing talking points that they don't understand at all. That's not convincing.

Isn’t that what people said about the Old Testament for centuries?
A society that obsessed with guns isn’t a healthy one.
I have no idea what people said about the Bible. It's not my preferred book of choice.
Our society has so many worse obsessions than guns. Fix a bunch of those before trying to stop people from having the right to protect themselves. Maybe if you can solve all those other issues, we won't need to have the right to own guns. As fucked up as things are though, people need to have the right to protect themselves.

You just proved the pro gun argument. Just like in the shooter side of it, it's the person not the gun that is responsible.

You seem to take great joy in getting the last word in. I take great joy from leaving you disappointed.

The difference is you seem to care. I don't. I'd have been using the ignore feature on you and slc for years.

Like I said, the ball is in your court. You start shit, I finish it. At this point you've built up so much ill will that you may never be able to recover from it...

buzzsaw wrote:No, see, like usual you completely ignore the point. What you guys call threats are actually someone making a statement or asking a question that you're interpreting as a threat. Legally you have no grounds to stand on, though I understand why you'd be concerned...especially if your past actions would make you wonder if someone was just saying something or was actually going to do something...
If you can point to where he said "I am going to..." you might have a leg to stand on. I didn't see that, though honestly I don't care enough to thoroughly read what you posted. You guys come on here and act like little bitches and can't believe it when it bothers someone. You call out people for starting threads about your bullshit, yet you come into those same threads and act like someone got your panties in a bunch while claiming moral superiority as if who started the thread matters somehow. You guys are clowns. You act like clowns, you think like clowns, and you react like clowns when someone gets sick of you...except this time you're scared. Again I ask if this has been going on for years, why are you suddenly scared? What have you done that would make you think that something is different this time around...
Legal...jesus christ man...the way you twist things....
I don't want to make a legal case out of this...ugh...there's just no winning with you. Twist and twist this conversation until it's about me being a bitch.
What's up is down and what's down is up. That's how you play your pathetic little game.
You wanna talk about being a little bitch while behaving like one yourself. I don't take shit from people like you in real life and I certainly won't take it from you on here.
Tough shit. You get what you deserve. When you stop acting like a bitch, I'll stop treating you like one. The ball is in your court. Until then you get exactly what you deserve.
