There is no Atlas Shrugged or The General Leak.
It's a hoax designed to troll and/or flush out people with Silkworms and This I Love.

I've always thought Slash would really rock it up and make it sound a bit like a Led Zep riff.
Sort of like how CD played by him has a more rocky feel than the older versions.
I know this is the go to song people hate but there's a bunch of cool guitar hidden in there.

Personally I like Silkworms but I think ID and I are the only ones on this forum that do.
What was posted here doesn't prove that The General or Atlas are around though.
We know Silkworms, OMG and the CD remixes leaked in 2011 just that people won't share them very often. The 3 minute leak of samples of them all went public - but some people have the full versions and aren't the sharing types.
I'm yet to hear anyone play a clip of The General or Atlas though which is why I don't think folks on that forum have them.

You have to o remember people were really careful with what they put out there especially with the Checkmate and darkenmus nonsense.
I just find the whole thing absurd.
I mean we're all fans of the same band.
I believe Atlas was on the same tape as Catcher which was never intended to be leaked.
I'm sure the song exists somewhere.
What I'm not sure about is 20 unknowns having it on that forum.
I'd love to be wrong. I hope we all listen to it soon.
Just saying, in the meantime, I know for a fact those other remixes exist cos we're heard them but all we have of the rest is faith, games, manipulation, power trips, squabbles and assholes. I'll get excited when they post a clip of something no one has heard.
But proof like "it's a long piano ballad with a lot of guitar solos, lots of layers in the mix and a weird breakdown" is like me saying I can prove I fucked Taylor Swfit cos I know there's this hood over her clit.
I'd PM you the video of that, but you know, I already sent out 3-4 PM's today.....

Although "Blood in The Water" isn't one of the "rare" leaks. It's common like "Going Down" and the Twat/IRS demos from 99 etc.
I was really talking about the non-common leaks that we know people are refusing to trade.

If anyone wants to start a project to get stuff why not focus on songs that are KNOWN to be out there:

I think it's a con. Why they'd blow up the reputation of their forum is odd.
I think as a play to get other songs.
Say you want silkworms. How do you get it? You go around talking about how you have Atlas. If everyone believes you have it then finally someone with Silkworms gives you their leak hoping to get yours back in return.
Isn't that, at least in part, one of the ways MSL got the original leaks back in the day?

I don't mean to be a dick...but I'm yet to see any evidence this is real.
In my opinion this was a hoax designed to get the people who DO have tracks that ARE out there - such as Silkworms, This I love Remix, Checkmate and the other well hoarded tracks from previous years to expose their wares in hopes of swapping it for Atlas or The General.
I'd love to be wrong, but there's no clips, and there's no one with any known integrity saying they have it.
Just a circle of people who all seemed to be banned from the major sites who only gave it to each other and then stopped sharing cos sending more than 10 pms was too hard.
Sorry, if you have something real, prove it. Otherwise...I can get my chain jerked other ways.
