Your assumption of me being anti-American could not be further from the truth. My views are more in line with not wishing countries (any country) stick their noses in to events that have little to do with them and claim it is for the good of humanity blah blah blah. Some Syrians killed other Syrians, so let the powers that be bomb more Syrians to add to the kill total. Anyone seeing the logic here?

If anything an attack on Syria is more likely to bring further destabilisation to the region along with strengthening the will of a large populace of the Arab world. 2 things that are not good for anyone.

I think Lomax understood what I was saying pretty well. Actually I thought you did too because originally you said:

Everyone I've spoken to about this, and it's been quite a few people because its on everyone's mind, don't want this to happen. There's no immediate threat to us, we should stop getting involved in the business of others, and no one wants to help al qaeda

Anti-American? No. Anti-Stupidity? Yes.

Well if I misunderstood what you were trying to say, than I'm sorry.  It just seemed like you were vilifying the US, and I took offence. I don't like the idea of the US being in perpetual war, I don't think many people here want that.  But I wouldn't go as far as saying that preventing the spread of weapons of mass destruction isn't important.

From a knowledgable friend:

"I have little to no doubt that the Assad regime did the chemical attacks. I dont really see the theories that Al-Q "rebels" did it, to try to blame the regime, and bring action favorable to them, as terribly realistic. For one, Assad has the weapons, controls them-with help from Soviet "advisors". Second, they really do lack the technical skills, and logistical safegaurding skills to move Sarin around without some dufus fucking up and accidently taking themselves out somewhere along the way.
Third, if Al-Q had obtained Sarin or other binary nerve agents, Im pretty sure they would'nt have wasted it on attacks in Syria. They'd likely have gone for the big PR blitz they'd get out of setting off a canister or two in Times Square, at rush-hour. If they did choose to use it in an internal conflict, Im thinking they'd prefer Pakistan or even Saudi for regime targets. "

Same as Afghanistan, somebody wants to build an oil and gas pipeline. Assad is not too keen on that. The west can't live with that kind of evil, so here we come!

This and this. There is absolutely NO reason for the U.S. to be going into Syria. This whole thing is so a false flag power grab it's almost sickening that Obama is willing to be such a mark for the globalists that he's literally willing to risk World War III with not just America, but THE WORLD and their lives, so those in power can continue to make that part of the world burn.

First off, I have heard utterly NO-PROOF that Assad has used chemical weapons. None. Nothing at all. Obama and Kerry are basically relying on "take our word for it". Obama was so arrogant that he basically went to G-20 and practically alluded to "I know it's not popular but... [come on guys, it's me, Obama]"

I voted for the guy (am regretting in the last 3 weeks), but can anyone tell me when he became an Emperor, because I must have missed that.

Secondly, Assad has NOTH-ING to gain by gassing people. No advantage. At all. Obama would have you believe this was done for shits n' giggles in a civil war. Umm, like fucking no or something?

Assad (who I AM NOT defending by ANY MEANS, he's a scumbag too), had been working towards democracy, and Assad KNEW that the Americans had been aching for YEARS to get into a fist-fight with him, to dethrone him.

Assad would either be the stupidest mother fucker to ever breathe, or he'd be right in the fact that he had been warning anyone who would listen for the last couple of years that the U.S. was gonna set him up to take the country, because he wasn't playing ball on... of what else... commerce. Money, the banks, finances, what it always comes down to the scum sucking globalists.

Kissenger YEARS ago outlined a plan to basically make the Middle East burn. The U.S. DOES NOT WANT PEACE IN THAT REGION. I can PROMISE YOU THAT. It DOES NOT PAY for the U.S. to have peace in that region. The more bodies pile up, the more dead kids, the better for the Americans. Why? Because the U.S. can simply go in, mop up, put their marks in there that do their bidding, and go back to business as usual. The more destroyed the middle east is, the more money they make, the less power exists in that part of the world, WITHOUT the major players coming in and making it work.

Thirdly, these so-called "rebels" that the U.S. is calling is... Al-Queda. These people are just another version of Islamic fascists. Pick your poison. Depends on the day. These rebels are far worse than Assad any day of the week. The rebels gassing THEMSELVES is far more likely. They have the most to gain. Assad has EVERYTHING to lose.

I mean I could go on and on. The war would be the least approved in history. Nobody wants it, Russia included. The U.S. has NO BUSINESS over there whatsoever. Way too much grey.

Now here in the states (i'm sure our world friends don't know this), now our local state politicians are using this political hotbed to basically push a Syrian War on the U.S. claiming, and no i'm not kidding, that Syria is going to detonate nuclear bombs in American cities very soon if we don't.

Of course! 'Dem Terrorisms is comin' ta get us, right? What a load of utter shit.

Obama strikes Syria, Russia's bluff gets called. They aren't going to want to look weak. They'll call China. Iran is already throwing threats around... this don't look good man, and over fucking NOTHING. So a boat load of people died in a gas attack, that NOBODY even has provided irrefutable proof that Assad even did it. So we're going to go to war over THAT?

This isn't even counting how many lies Obama and Kerry have been caught in in the last week, back and forthing on their statements.

How can dropping bombs be "saving people" according to John McCain?

This is bullshit. This whole thing is a scam.

People on here know the kind of stuff i've said on here before being the polar-opposite of what i'm saying right now. That's how strongly I feel about this.

America goes over there... I hope the Russians light them the fuck up. America needs to be CHECKED. It's time America gets their ASS whooped and realizes they are not the savior, but the goddamn BULLY on the block and have been ever since they sold out to the globalist pigs that own our Federal Reserve.

This war, no different than Iraq, is not about freedom or WMD's, it's about power and money, and the industry that war has sadly become, so sadly that I don't even look at my own country the same. MY country. I have to live with knowing everything I ever believed was a lie, or at least is a lie in the last 30 years. This is NOT the America of the Eisenhower/Kennedy, let's fight the Commies, days. Far from it.

The U.S. is not going to learn until they get the shit kicked out of them, like alot of bullies.

And this is coming from the guy, with the southern accent, confederate flag in the truck, cowboy hat n' boots, old school, patriotic American.

God Bless America, truely... as you make the biggest fucking mistake in your history. I can only hope and pray to the Lord above that casualties are low, and that this war causes America to wake the fuck up, take back our country from the criminals that are currently running it. CRIMINALS.

And to all of my friends elsewhere in the world... I am sorry. From this American to you. I am sorry. I am truely sorry. This government, this industry/banker-owned military DOES NOT REPRESENT ME or my fellow Americans. We love you, and we're sorry. Peace and love to you and yours, and if you ever in your socialist nations (which would never allow it), feel like becoming a little more loving of guns, if we want to get violent, why don't we pick up weapons and take our governments back across the globe. Power to the people. Death to the globalists.

JR - You don't believe Assad, a well documented scumbag, used chemical weapons on his own people, because you haven't seen the proof. But you want US troops to lose and die because you think there is a globalist conspiracy of international bankers that secretly run the federal reserve and our military, because why? You have an orgy of evidence to prove that without a shadow of a doubt?  I doubt that. Because I was obsessed with that conspiracy myself for a couple of years, and the arguments were strong enough for me to fall through that rabbit hole and do some hardcore research. Know what I found? Bullshit. A whole lot of historical fact to sucker you in, tied together with speculation that isn't backed up with proof.

Further, they have given us proof that chemical weapons were used. Both the US and French governments analyses hair and clothing samples from the victims and confirmed the chemicals used. The proof that hasn't been shown to us yet is the proof that Assad did it. But as I pointed out in an earlier post, it's very unlikely anyone but his regime would have been able to do it.

Nobody is more unlikely to have done it than Assad. NATO is knocking on his door wanting to bomb him, UN inspectors due in a week...hmm seems a good time to commit some senseless war crimes against my own people.

This didn't just happen. It's been suspected for months. They just now have proof.

Assad is being threatened by revolution and regime change, he's desperate to cling to power. Something like chemical attacks and than western inaction could do the trick, put some fear back in the rebels.
