GNR always do a bunch of covers in their set its, why not do a couple of VR ones per show for Slash and Duff.

They could rotate a couple different VR songs each show to keep it fresh.

I think Axl would do great with Set me free.

Gotta be honest. Id rather hear a walking paper song or a snakepit song. I don't think VR had the quality.
Neither Can I and Beggars and Hangers on I want.

Beggars and hangerons would be awesome.

the whole thinking about playing VR is, if Axl is making Slash and Duff play CD songs then maybe they would want to play a couple of VR songs or even give them one solo song each.

I'm not sure most of them work for Axl's style.    It'd be like Axl covering STP.    They'd probably have to be changed around.

Admittingly, I'd be curious to see it.

New Rose and Attitude practically are solo tracks for Duff. Maybe you can make an argument for a Slash song, but he's basically distanced himself from VR's discography himself.

The difference is, the CD songs are part of the GnR catalogue.    Not everyone likes that fact, but..

I think some of Slash's solo songs from his more recent stuff would suit Axl better than the VR songs.. at least as they were written with Scott's influence.   I think if Axl had been given the melody/music for a song like Fall to Pieces (which he claims happened at one point), the song would have come out completely different.
