After repeated listens....and listening to the Village leak....I'm really starting to like this version.

It has a lot going on...a tad messy....but it gets the job done.

Anyone else thrown a bit by the kind of skipping parts? Very odd timing ... obviously deliberate but kind of odd? Axl also sounds ever so slightly off the beat in parts - similarly to live.... mmmm

its bc the vocals are 20 years old because Axl couldn't bother to redo the vocals to fit the new guitar parts.

Not surprising whatsoever...

It's going to have the same production team as Chinese Democracy.

The synth and guitar parts are really good on this. Way better than I expected.
The new vocal format like the BBF version totally ruins the song. It makes it way too repetitive.  Axl removed the great chorus for just the word absurd.  So dumb.  Even worse he just sings the same two lines over and over again.

I'm now giving him a pass for this.

He has a bunch of finished songs in his vault.

Vocal takes in your 30s-40s or vocal takes when you're approaching 60?

The less new work he has to do, the more likely it will get released.

I don't want any more delays....

Wow.

Much better.

Like I said before....I'm not gonna jump all over them for the lazy artwork. We're long past the point of worrying about liner notes, logos, etc.

Hell....I got a generic GNR tattoo on my arm in 1999 and was going to place an upcoming killer GNR CD logo underneath it.

It never came....

Edit

You should never delete GNR leaks. You never know when you may want to revisit...

Was it part of the locker leaks? If not, I'd appreciate a DM

Anyone else triggered by the sloppy edit job on the first verse with the skip at screaming fucking banshee part that is not even on the other verses when he sings it again.  It was there on the BBF version, you would think they would have fixed it since it was not there on the village version.
