i liked sic's (if i remember correctly) theory

that it is about his inner battle with himself as a sufferer of bipolar syndrome, maybe

if you listen to it as if he is talking to himself it starts to fit as well.

That could well be what he is referring to. I think some of the song is definently aimed at the media .

After listening again this morning, I am thinking it's to Slash, Duff or anyone that has talked about him to the press, on tv shows, etc and also to the fans. Certain lyrics to them and certian lyrics to us.

MY opinion is that it's what each takes out of it. Only Axl knows what he wrote it about. we can only assume.

I think the fact that this discussion is even taking place is a compliment to the lyrics. You all could be right, you all could be wrong. Either way, Axl wrote another song that makes you think instead of spelling it out for you.

I'm not a fan of the song yet, but I've changed my mind on the lyrics as a result of this thread.
