Only Episode III: Sith, was on quality with the old films, and in my personal opinion in the Top-3 of the franchise. The fact that Lucas and his people are already gonna be stretched thin creatively on doing a TV series, doing ANOTHER Trilogy and make it be worth watching, sounds like a daunting task.

Lucas might want to bring some extra writers, creative consultants, and maybe even have some other directors than himself directing these films.

It might help to breath fresh air into the franchise.
