But what I don't get is his get-up. Why the Kentucky Fried Chicken hat man???? :

Whos this guitar-playing sonsa bitch? , is a question common asked.
On his head a bucket of chicken bones, on his face a plaster mask.
Hes the bastard son of a preacher man, on the town he left a stain.
They made him live in a chicken house to try to and hide the shame.

He was born in a coop, raised in a cage. children fear him, critics rage.
Hes half alive, hes half dead. folks just call him buckethead.

Farmers would torment him as he snuggled with the hens.
Theyd hose him down with water, and steal his little friends.
Now late at night hed sneak off to the graveyard all alone,
And play a soapbox guitar to the faces made of stone.

Buckethead found his freedom at the age of 17,
When he burned the chicked house down with a quart of gasoline.
He did puppet shows on corners and bought a real guitar,
And with the help of colonel sanders, hes bound to be a star.

He was born in a coop, raised in a cage. children fear him, critics rage.
Hes half alive, hes half dead. folks just call him buckethead.

and the question that even Jesus himself asks.....

If he was raised by chickens, why does he like to eat chickens?

A lot more people in the world should adopt a bucket and mask.  Victoria Beckham would benefit from it as I`m sick of seeing her ugly bone protruding face everywhere.
I`m betting David would bang her more if she did,.

Wait til the 2:45 mark to see what Axl had in his band and tell me if you think Ron's parts, Frank's drums and Axl's tinkering were justified in not releasing the album in the 5 years Bucket was in the band...

It was just long enough to lose him.

The album was 5 years too late released. Axl had the best guitar player he ever could find in Buckethead. Those melodies are the works of a pure genious.

Its different in Canada and the US though because the countries are so big with so many stations. This is in the only rock station in Scotland, it launched about 3 years ago and its the first time the northern half of the UK have a rock station.
Its a great station, very interactive with fans and reguarly putting on events for the listeners. AC/DC never included a Scotland date for the UK tour and the station had a big campaign and petition to get a show and we got one, AC/DC finished the European leg of their world tour with a massive show in the national stadium!

Its all I listen to, the chances of hearing GNR or anything good on the big national stations like Radio 1 are zilch, they just play the shit of the day.
The only way GNR would get airplay on those would be if they were active with a single doing well in the charts.
