This one? We had much better pictures on ROV. I remember people tried to pass it off as a new album and listed a bunch fake songs, but on the close ups it's was basically most of the entire discography. Including Spaghetti Incident songs with Estranged ect.

"Very Best of Guns N' Roses" Greatest Hits Volume 2? This might not be the right cover though, I'm looking for the better quality ones that we used to have.

GNR posted this pic with some lyrics to Rhiad. I'd say nice hybrid of new and old, right?... :haha;

It's an old picture. Seen that back in 2006 if not before.

We know it was old Atari. That was the point ID was making. You missed his point and said that it was an old logo. Lol

I remember the discussion on ROV we had about it. It was definitely a Greatest Hits upon zooming in.

I kept asking why on earth you'd release a 2 disc Greatest Hits for a band that only had 3 proper albums a few years after the first one tongue. I can't remember why it was assumed that it was real though at that time.

A great fucking band, that's why. cool

The previous release was a Greatest Hits. This would have been a "Best of". Makes sense with no CD on the horizon, the GH sold well if I remember correctly.

From the mygnr thread when it was posted:

Even with the low resolution, that front cover clearly says "Welcome To the Jungle: The Very Best Of Guns N' Roses."

Yes, it also said "Greatest Hits Volume 2" somewhere there.

Their were better pictures including of the track listing back on ROV. As a consumer you'd been out of your mind not just to buy AFD, UYI and TSI instead tongue.

Greatest Hits I guess at least was a nice introductory point for casuals who didn't know much about the band and for hardcores to get "Sympathy for the Devil".

For sure you might as well buy the regular albums.

The "best of" and "greatest hits" package is very enticing to new or casual fans though. You could make the same argument for GH, but it still ended up a big money maker. That's all they care about. Doesn't surprise me one bit it said "the very best of: greatest hits vol 2". Going for maximum effect.

I read somewhere it was cancelled because of Axl, Slash and Duff. They weren't happy with the GH. The logo might have been the real reason of course, but then you think they would just change it.
